OK, a thought about when (and if) we voluntarily kill the oracle for information:

We still have (probably) at least 4 miskills, maybe 5 (I think worst case is 3 if bozo was doctor). The longer we delay, the less information we need. For example:

If I die, no serious need to oracle Jasnah.

If worcej dies, no need to oracle bozo (except if curious about him being GF for non-guilty scans)

Etc. Etc.

So, I suggest we continue delaying any oracle reveal/death for a while longer to force the scum team to EITHER show us stuff by their choices, OR continue not revealing at which point we can oracle what we need.

Mostly on the discussion during early night yesterday. PE argued that on Day 2, anyone who voted for Tom after the two counterclaims were likely Town. That leaves the following group of people-

I then said I was pushing for Tom day 3 to be the kill, and that should clear me of suspicion. Taking out others who were pushing tom day 3, we were left with the final group of-

I wouldn't have expected a team of bozo/Tom to do the NKs/RBs we've been seeing. Given this premise, I don't see why throwing a Vecna on top makes any less sense.

My forming thoughts on the NK pattern is that they realize there are too many clears and are delaying to justify slapping a scum read on some of our confirms near lylo, because there won't be enough time left in the end to say "well they're a clear they'll die soon enough" and add the few extra MKs necessary to thread the needle.

That, or the obvious thought that one of the clears is wrong, but I think this is wifom that we are intended to believe. It's hard to see which of our clears could even be wrong.

Thus if the NK pattern is in fact "fortune favors the bold" and not "clueless noob" I'd say it points more towards players like Vecna than Sabi.

Besides, who else could it be? rdrivera? I guess. I'm not with you on your Sabi thesis at all

Tom has been known to do risky things (see fake claiming cop to get vig to shoot his scum read). Bozo died early. Tom was dead last night.

Can you say more about why you disagree on Sabi? Do you think their posts after ghug claims is something a town player posts? Do you think their belief that Durga was town clear and the emphasis that Durga town read Sabi (their focus again on clearing themselves) is something a town player gets wrong?

There's not much to it. I just don't think she can make this many posts and slip past my scumdar (it's a thing)

I do definitely think it's not any more likely to confuse Durga as a clear as scum than town. That said if Sabi is the last remaining scum left clueless by Tom's decapitation I don't really see why it's any more likely for Durga to die than, say, you. I see that you're applying the idea that if everyone else's clear pool excludes Durga except Sabi and scum needs to kill clears to win then Sabi is most likely scum and I think it's a good thought, I just think you're wrong.

That said, she's probably not a safe lylo candidate no, less for slipping past as hidden scum and more for just making a mistake
