After seeing rdr agree with me about Sabi, I had a memory of asking "is rdr buddying me?" and found this post from several days ago.

It aged OK I think.

I then also took my own advice and reread the EON (it's easy on the bot, just click the 537-539 range on the night 5 recap).

I think most of the players responses are towny except 1. All the players but 1 respond with wonder of who does this mean is scum and what are we going to do. All the other players respond multiple times, and all the other players focus on what they learn about others and the game state.

Only Sabi focuses on herself alone, and doesn't consider the game state, the shock, conclusions to draw, people to vote, who is telling the truth. She is also the first to post, and then doesn't post again. Here's her whole EON after the CC:

I have solved this game a long time ago, it's Bozo, Tom, Kgray and Sabi. If I am wrong on Sabi it's probably Ghug or Jasnah was scum. The end.

@Bunny, but if Ghug is lying, why not CC yesterday before the Tom kill? Also, we have to kill both, so ... It just gets himself killed, and means we have 1 possible scum left

Compare this post from Doom for how I expect a clever new town member to play.

In comparison, I see Sabi's response as how a clever new scum member to play. Push their innocence. But forget to solve. And when unsure of the gamestate, disappear instead of being excited.

rivera, why do you prefer flipping bozo to flipping jasnah?

Jasnah will most likely come back VT, and then we won't learn anything.

Thank you for responding the obvious one. I would add that flipping Bozo guarantees two town clears or two scum. At this point this is pretty valuable and is a better choice then tryng some wild theory about Jasnah being Cop or something.

Chaqa is pushing hard that Jasnah not cop means he is confirmed, but it won't be 100% confirmed as we will still have lfischl (that I don't think was cop but could).

Also I was kinda resigned to the fact that I would be flipped at some point and figured it might as well be sooner rather than later because I wasn't keen on defending myself for 2 weeks straight but now I kinda feel actually motivated to try regardless

I know I will be one of the next DKs and I don't have the time or the will to start doing a lot of work to just hear that I am scum because I started digging when I am under pressure. Besides, there is no real info (well, Flum and Durga are town, which was petty obvious a long time ago).

Also, I was not enjoying this game as a Mafia game. I made it clear a long time ago. I relaxed and started playing lightly and just follow my gut. It worked on Tom and I am pretty sure I am right on at least one of Sabi/Kgray.

(just read the ghug claim, eon results and saw a glimpse of chaqa calling ghug scum).

Ghug couldve done it just as a hero play to eat a nk, but dont think he retracted? I think the trajectory he had made some sense with his stated scans, but it needs more investagtion.

It kinda checks out that Tom and Chaqa would be scum together because Tom said something like "oracle should scan me to know the truth" and that felt kinda like they were pushing a clear Chaqa but.... I still... I'm so confused.

Yeah and I thought Chaqa/bozo made sense as scum buddies too.

Can you elaborate on this idea? My impression was he spent pushing both bozo and Tom quite a lot D2

It wasn’t because of anything Chaqa did, it was because bozo kept hyperanalyzing worcej’s reaction to chaqa’s claim to push a scumread of worcej but ignored the (frankly shady) way Chaqa was acting at the time. Made me think he was avoiding pointing out why what Chaqa did was scummy because he was protecting him.

Why do you think, if ghug is in fact the oracle fake-retracting to hide his PRness, it's important to find that out by day killing him?

I don't really think Ghug is oracle fake claiming, I said that mostly as a joke.
