Your rationale doesn't follow to me, but I agree there's no point to playing to this theory, as jasnah didn't behave at all like a Cop making a play once the Miller controversy erupted.

The only explanation of this is that Mafia wanted Chaqa to find a GF, I agree with that. It's risky as hell, cause Tom was high up on scumlists (on mine at least), but Chaqa didn't make clear his supiciousness, I don't think, so maybe they thought they were safe?

In that case, it... Has to be someone we thought Chaqa would scan? Well, I guess... If the team is that way, we have three kills in the bag. One scum left outstanding, among the dead or living. Guess we'll find out end of our fifth day if its already over.

I was expecting a follow-up PM saying I had died. It took about 5 minutes from the first PM to the start of night post.
