If we get info on a death, sure, let's chat and see where people are, and kill someone and find out if they are town or Mafia. With no info at all? Killing someone gives the oracle something to feel useful, but I don't think that's worth it. With no reveal, I don't think it's worth the majority of cases where two townies die, and we don't have any info at all out of one of those deaths.

Okay, maybe I'm explaining this poorly, but like, we have somewhere between 2-3 scum left, with 6 townclears, and a potential seventh, plus some "soft clear" people like Durga.

Mafia will if they're smart spend the next several nights shooting worcej, myself, TFB, Bona, Flum, and Bunny.

If Oracle claims from wagon pressure, we're not likely to DK for knowledge, and mafia probably doesn't prioritize shooting them over worcej or myself.

Right now most people have their PoE limited to like 4-5 people. If one of those is removed, we have a cumulatively way higher percent chance to DK scum.

I see no upside to the Oracle hiding and no downside to them claiming.

We need mafia to NK the oracle, stop being a buffoon.

If we randomly hit the oracle via daykill, w/e.

With the oracle around it still gives scum the out to frantically claim it with 5 minutes left, which will give us more odds to find scum.

Maybe worried about JOAT Docsave, sure. That's a good point. Of course, if they think JOAT saves Bona (he ostensibly didn't, judging from the MMXVII post), they can still shoot Chaqa and rb worcej. If they wanted to go a little more out-there out of fear of getting dunked twice in a row, they could shoot you, or a widely townread but not mech clear person like Durga.

Not really, since every time I bring it up I get shouted down and insulted. It's quite obvious town has no desire to kill him no matter how he acts.

He's not the type to potentially take a teammate down with him without prior coordination. He might do it with somebody he really trusts to roll with it. I'm not sure if Fluminator counts, though to your credit Flum is a chill guy who rolls with punches, so maybe. (Though I also think Chaqa is less likely to put a chill guy who rolls with punches into a bad spot to begin with.)
