Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
I do want an end to this day so we can move on, but killing Bozo... ehhhh? Yeah, I think it's >5% percent chance he's the doctor, but it is there, and I do think there's an advantage to voting off someone else and forcing the night. Still, keeping this day going doesn't seem valuable, so...
## END
If we want to just kill Bozo, we can. But I'm not putting a vote on a player I think it's in town's interest to keep around, so I'm sticking with Tom for now. Had good chance of dying yesterday, and I dunno, seems weird he managed to survive that. Most of his posts when I went through bot were saying WorseJ was scummy, and saying Bona was probably town clear. Argument that Bozo wouldn't claim cause that would kill Tom strikes me as odd.

I actually agree with Chaqa, and think Tom B is town here.

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
His argument is that the risk of him getting voted out from bozo claiming was so high that bozo wouldn’t take what was otherwise a free claim to try to find a PR on the way down. That is simply not how the end of day went. It’s reasoning backward from one possible outcome out of many to say that that outcome was the most likely one (it wasn’t) and was also foreseeable enough that the mafia would act accordingly (it certainly wasn’t).

The frustration from Tom does seem genuine, I’d grant that, and I don’t think Tom is the type to fake that, so I could see him being town here.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Maybe. I think Jasnah is more likely town than most of the people up for discussion today, so I think the chances that revealing her helps us are kind of low... And if she is scum, she didn't leave us much to work with. Wouldn't confirming another scum is probably more helpful? Or what do you think about oracle revealing damo?Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 6:54 pmBecause that -can- actually have relevant outcomes for our understanding of this game that dont rely on votes (outcome being scum or miller).kgray wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 6:49 pmWhy do you think it's so good to oracle jasnah, then?Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 6:46 pmim gonna repeat again, that in my book, an oracle reveal on a random DK that didnt claim shit, is probably a huge waste.
Unless the vote analysis would have some really great information, it just doesnt bring us anything. Except then people will do what they usually do, and make potentially horrendous deductions based on VCA.
Note that I already had Bozo pegged for suspicious behavior on how he acted around the Jasnah wagon for example.
Im not saying its the be-all, end-all oracle use. Im saying itll give us more useful results than a random DK we choose now, like Tom B, snowy, Ghug or whatever.
It was also to just undermine the silly comments that the oracle totally needs a new daykill to have a usefull target to reveal.

Also, I don’t think the game is bogging down. I don’t mind killing bozo because I think he and/or jasnah are acceptable gravedigger targets. But I don’t see the need to end it right now. It’s not like we’re just trolling and not digging into things, today’s been pretty productive.

I think Chaqa is doing enough that his eventual NK will give us the same answer.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 7:03 pmMaybe. Indeed, but putting this time pressure on people to accelerate their arguments under looming threat of an endvote has certainly contributed to that.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 7:04 pmAlso, I don’t think the game is bogging down. Im fine ending on a high instead of letting it ~ simmer down now~

These are the only people I would consider voting today:
Doom427
ghug
kgray
rdrivera2005
snowy801
TheFlyingBoat
In order, it goes roughly:
snowy > rivera > TFB > kgray > ghug > Doom
Doom427
ghug
kgray

snowy801
TheFlyingBoat
In order, it goes roughly:
snowy > rivera > TFB > kgray > ghug > Doom

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
This isn’t meant to be pithy either to be clear, at this point I’m moving through the POE to put some pressure so unless Jamie did something he can’t have done as mafia, might as well put some heat on him.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 7:10 pmWhy not
But the best answer to “why” is I’m getting mad M63 vibes from this whole game and I wonder if Jamie didn’t bus bozo because he thought bozo failed to meet bozo’s town meta
