Going after Bona makes perfect sense when you consider that even if you RB worcej and shoot Chaqa you could get owned by the JOAT

JOAT doesn’t have to have actually used the Doc save yet for the mafia to worry about it

Although I’ll grant you that I had it in my head that the JOAT had to use abilities n1/n2/n3 and on a reread of the role PM, that’s just not true

But regardless, JOAT save just makes it obvious, but even setting that aside, supposing that the mafia didn’t want to give you a scan, they still have to worry about a WIFOM battle just over worcej. That’s enough to make it plausible that they went off the radar a bit.

Then why does bozo claim to have protected bunny? This implies, on assumption that this the edge case of bona/worcej scumteam, that JOAT did the protection or that mafia held the nk. In the first case, JOAT can claim to set up either a 2 PRs for 2 scum or 1 PR and 1 VT for 2 scum. The second case is unproveable but sets up a 2 vs 1 of PR for scum, an objectively bad deal for scum that logarithically locks scum out of the game.
