That said, it's probably worth something to psychoanalyze the player base and figure out who would make a call like that, and who would sign off on it.

I'll just get out in front by saying that while I haven't played mafia in years, I would definitely sign off on something like that, as would, I think, Chaqa, snowy and bozo. (Ironically I think both worcej and Bona would, but for obvious reasons they can't have.)

Chaqa would totally sign off on the derp play of letting scum!worcej and scum!bona try this. I think bona would go along too. Not sure about worcej. I would probably object and then sign off.

I’m talking about the other situation—where mafia tried to next level and hit Bona instead of a PR. That, plus the damo kill, both have a style points element to them that I think is at least SOMEWHAT telling, but I’m not sure how telling or in what direction yet

Yes. I do it. We also had a great game won in part by aarodactyl with only innoscans.

He had a guilty on me, but he didn't get to use it because my team bussed me and then outed themselves trying to save me.

I mean, they don't have to. If role block and kill can't be on different players, they can't go for two for one on maybe hitting cop with role block and getting lucky. Cop doesn't have to claim until they're worried night kill will hit them, or Day kill will. Though, if Mafia keep cop hunting, a real cop would have to cc today I guess? Otherwise it will hit?

Pretty interesting night. If Worcej claim is true (and I believe it is) he deserves the MVP even if town end losing. It´s a really wild guess to save Bona. What makes me believe more Worcej is that I can´t see a Universe where Bozo choose to save the Miller claimant, it makes no sense at all. But this was already discussed.

Maybe giving the Joat or Oracle another option is better then just killing scum Bozo, but somehow I don´t think it will happen, people want scum blood, lol.

Also, sorry for being absent. I didn´t read anything from the night, so if I miss something really important please tell me. I read everything of D3 until now and will try to participate more, but can´t really guarantee this.

The explanation that they went for Bona because he was widely townread doesn´t make sense because he wasn´t so widely townread and because the obvious play for scum is to go after PRs.

I think there's a scenario where this happened with scum Chaqa. It seemed clear after yesterday that we weren't going to kill him for a while without a counterclaim, meaning that his progression to the endgame is viable. If they think there's a decent chance they hit the real cop in damo, even moreso. Then they can't kill him because he's theirs and they can't leave him unRBed because it's not believable, so they take the middle ground.
