You're unlikely to get too much seriousness at night. I thought it was super weird that people would vote between the doc claimants too (you can all pretend like it was obvious but that only came about during N2) but I've seen equally stupid things when bozo and rdrivera were counter claiming each other when bozo fingered a fake guilty on me in M1017 so I'm still chewing through what it all meansDoom427 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 5:23 pmTY, I was hoping to get more reactions to it, but past that we've just had big fights between likely townie players. Thinking about it now, you're right the conclusion is wrong. I can't read into the jump which doc claimant is scum, but making the jump from one doc claimant to the other I do read as scum, b/c both are functionally equal, and scum have the best reason to jump on one or the other, either to bus a teammate or save one.ghug wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 5:15 pmDon't love the conclusion, but like this post.Doom427 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 2:03 pmWait, ok, I've been thinking on it and gonna make this it's own separate post for a second-why would anyone switch to bozo? It makes sense if you know for sure Bozo is scum, but we had two separate doctor claims, and limited time to figure out which one was true and which one wasn't. Why the jump to bozo? Tom is right there, and even if you don't love it, it's right there, and has a (almost) 0% chance of hitting the doctor.
WorceJ goes from in the lead, after the bozo claim, to no longer an option. But why, after WorceJ says he's the doctor, would that convince you to vote for Bozo, who says He's The Doctor, but first? Neither one crumbed, neither one gave any evidence? I mean, people had other reasons for voting for either player, but...I think I might have convinced myself that maybe WorceJ is the scum player? I really wish either one had crumbed though-WorceJ gave a decent excuse why, but Bozo gave me nothing, so based on their own merits alone I lean toward WorceJ being truthful, but the votes jumping to Bozo even though both players are fundamentally equal in my mind (When voting occurred, not afterwards) makes me think scum would be doing the jump?

Is it weird? It felt super right to me at the time that bozo should die. I still think we probably should have just ended him there. But I've been scum with him before and this feels like when he was scum
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
My only experience with scum!worcej was when he wasn't mafia but third party. He was *very* different in that game.

It felt like he was genuinely enjoying playing that game whereas most of the time it feels like he wants to murder everyone

You know that raw emotion is really helpful in reading people, yes?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 3:57 pmTime for another “old man tells a story”:worcej wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 3:52 pmUh... pretty sure my audience is everyone in the game right now.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 3:48 pm
Let’s test that theory, shall we?
Because it’s fairly clear to me that all your arguments are forgetting that the goal isn’t to be RIGHT, it’s to convince the jury. And none of your actions or writings are meaningfully considering your audience. They’re designed to shout and be violent and loud.
But if you wonder why you aren’t heard as much as you think you should be, maybe you should consider your goals and general audience.
I'm pointing out how bozo is incorrectly interpreting my intentions and framing up my position to everyone. He is explaining what worcej is doing in defense of himself, why can I not do the same? Why are you trying to shut me down right now?
This has nothing to do with me being right and you portraying this is an interesting move for you to make. Combined with these attempted shutdowns and soft character attacks, I'm growing ratherof you.
Episode 4? Let’s say four.
I had a friend as a kid who loved to argue. He was loud. And he was RIGHT. And if you were wrong he’d let you know. Be it pedantry or general point, he’d argue with you.
Now, we were obnoxious and fairly intelligent and competitive teens. We all argued and enjoyed being RIGHT. But this guy needed it.
One day, my dad taught me the meanest thing you could do to this kid was say “I agree.” He told us this IN FRONT OF THE KID. Then when the kid tried arguing with my dad, my dad would just say “<kids name>, you’re right. I’m not disagreeing with you.”
But the kid needed to argue. He needed to be RIGHT! He couldn’t stop himself from trying to find another thing to argue about and show how my dad was wrong.
Needless to say, it was very funny. And everyone but the kid learned a good lesson.

No one is going to pay attention to what I say unless my alignment is confirmed. I do not have a solution, but I think there is a good chance for another scum in those who wanted to kill both miller claimants (Jamie and lfischl), and another among the low level participants (rdrivera, Tom, lfischl). Based on D2 voting, Bonatogether, kgray, and Vecna look suspect.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:29 amYou really need to start solving for us...bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:13 amYou really need to stop trying to solve things with the assumption I am scum.Fluminator wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 6:06 amKgray i'm super torn on.
She did push bozo most of the day and would scum really bus like that?
But her reaction to catching bozo, one of her main scum reads was completely neutered. When she catches scum as town she expresses so much happiness and earned pride. I saw none of that here.
Think we should give her a bit more time to obvtown just in case.

I pointed out those who are trying to solve the game based on the incorrect assumption that I am mafia, and you are probably the worse offender. Also, your D2 voting looks scum motivated, since you were trying to save worcej. If you are town, you are also an example of confirmation bias.
