The scum team is clearly 100% together in trying to get bozo through this CC battle. There will be 3 people that have vested interest in supporting bozo over me and joining in the character/motive assassination of me. They can also accomplish their goal by postponing the flip instead of processing it now and constantly RB'ing me.

The first notable example of character assassination right now is Bunny and bozo:
I don't need to repeat the bozo points, I hit them already.

Bunny's recent posting this phase is very telling to me because I know I am town and his perspective comes off pretty anti-worcej based.

He let bozo go about his posting with no critique comments and Bunny attempted to shut mine down and 'advised' me to not respond.

He attempted to frame my responses back as if I was fighting (I wasn't) or arguing (don't we all technically argue in this game? why was this important?)

Flum, Chaqa, and Eden look rather meh for considering delaying the flip of bozo or me:
The logic of 'getting a better Oracle flip' is flawed because the Oracle's power should be to used on CC-battle situations to provide clarity down the road. Damo is an okay target for now, but clearly bozo or myself (whoever gets flipped D3) is the best target once it's done because than you either know I was right and find out bozo is lying or I become conf!doctor. That being said, if we flip bozo D3, I doubt I live past N3 anyways.

Going the 'delay route' is the safe method to defend bozo. These guys have gained some suspicion from it. I've hit at the Eden vote movement on top of this already, so of the group he is the worst optically imho.

Otherwise, ghug looks rather bad for his vote movement EOD2, but has said the right things. I don't agree with his scum read on kgray, but he isn't obviously scum - he comes off as more wrong town than anything.

I'll stop polluting the thread with my takes on other scum, my points at the inherent flaws of bozo's case, and overall attempts to try to help my team get through this as best as I can.

I'm already 91% certain bozo is scum. I consider an oracle on bozo a waste.

Wait, ok, I've been thinking on it and gonna make this it's own separate post for a second-why would anyone switch to bozo? It makes sense if you know for sure Bozo is scum, but we had two separate doctor claims, and limited time to figure out which one was true and which one wasn't. Why the jump to bozo? Tom is right there, and even if you don't love it, it's right there, and has a (almost) 0% chance of hitting the doctor.

WorceJ goes from in the lead, after the bozo claim, to no longer an option. But why, after WorceJ says he's the doctor, would that convince you to vote for Bozo, who says He's The Doctor, but first? Neither one crumbed, neither one gave any evidence? I mean, people had other reasons for voting for either player, but...I think I might have convinced myself that maybe WorceJ is the scum player? I really wish either one had crumbed though-WorceJ gave a decent excuse why, but Bozo gave me nothing, so based on their own merits alone I lean toward WorceJ being truthful, but the votes jumping to Bozo even though both players are fundamentally equal in my mind (When voting occurred, not afterwards) makes me think scum would be doing the jump?

I think it benefits town to not flip Bozo or worcej until we have to or until we have better information. Having both Cop and Doctor alive with the JOAT's doc save in the wings makes a giant WIFOM game for scum we can make use of.

The benefit of flipping one of them would be that the Oracle or JOAT can check out the body, but I'm not sure if the risk of getting it wrong is worth it until we have to (say one day out from LYLO).

This is right, I think. Mafia actions are likely going to tell us something about all the claimants eventually.

For my part, I didn't totally believe bozo's claim in the moment and was hoping for a TFB wagon. When you claimed, my initial reaction was that you were actually scum, because a) you didn't claim in the final moments D1 (impressive in retrospect) and b) it's more likely we hit a PR and then scum with the wagons than that we'd hit scum and then the specific PR that scum claimed. Your emotion post-flip (and the fact that nobody but Eden seems to want to argue it) is pretty convincing, though.

Why? His best chance of winning a CC battle was with me, not the JOAT or oracle. If I get DKed D3 with too many players assuming worcej is the real doctor, the game is over.

It makes sense from worcej’s POV and maybe objectively too. bozo is pointedly not the Oracle as is worcej, and the sooner bozo dies, the sooner they kill worcej, and the longer they don’t target a potential Oracle.

It’s also worth noting that resolving an outright, no-BS counterclaim is the best use case yet for the Oracle, which incentivizes killing one claimant ASAP. And it’s probably for the best that we decide on which one we believe and stick with it.

The Oracle should be used to determine an alignment on someone we daykill with no information. I firmly believe this.

TY, I was hoping to get more reactions to it, but past that we've just had big fights between likely townie players. Thinking about it now, you're right the conclusion is wrong. I can't read into the jump which doc claimant is scum, but making the jump from one doc claimant to the other I do read as scum, b/c both are functionally equal, and scum have the best reason to jump on one or the other, either to bus a teammate or save one.
