Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
The scum team is clearly 100% together in trying to get bozo through this CC battle. There will be 3 people that have vested interest in supporting bozo over me and joining in the character/motive assassination of me. They can also accomplish their goal by postponing the flip instead of processing it now and constantly RB'ing me.
The first notable example of character assassination right now is Bunny and bozo:
I don't need to repeat the bozo points, I hit them already.
Bunny's recent posting this phase is very telling to me because I know I am town and his perspective comes off pretty anti-worcej based.
He let bozo go about his posting with no critique comments and Bunny attempted to shut mine down and 'advised' me to not respond.
He attempted to frame my responses back as if I was fighting (I wasn't) or arguing (don't we all technically argue in this game? why was this important?)
Flum, Chaqa, and Eden look rather meh for considering delaying the flip of bozo or me:
The logic of 'getting a better Oracle flip' is flawed because the Oracle's power should be to used on CC-battle situations to provide clarity down the road. Damo is an okay target for now, but clearly bozo or myself (whoever gets flipped D3) is the best target once it's done because than you either know I was right and find out bozo is lying or I become conf!doctor. That being said, if we flip bozo D3, I doubt I live past N3 anyways.
Going the 'delay route' is the safe method to defend bozo. These guys have gained some suspicion from it. I've hit at the Eden vote movement on top of this already, so of the group he is the worst optically imho.
Otherwise, ghug looks rather bad for his vote movement EOD2, but has said the right things. I don't agree with his scum read on kgray, but he isn't obviously scum - he comes off as more wrong town than anything.
I'll stop polluting the thread with my takes on other scum, my points at the inherent flaws of bozo's case, and overall attempts to try to help my team get through this as best as I can.

I mean, Bunny could still be scum, though it's like a 5% chance.

I would presume he's calling Bunny badtown? Surely we have incredibly high confidence that Bunny is miller at this point, right?

Worcej painting anyone that are not a fan of him, even when they have claimed a PR, as scum is quite an interesting tactic. Let's see how this plays out...
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Town!bunny has always promoted conversation and asked questions and wanted people to expand their points. This apparent attempt to get me to stop posting is strictly anti-town behavior based on how Bunny has played as town.
First, Miller isn't PR.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:37 pmWorcej painting anyone that are not a fan of him, even when they have claimed a PR, as scum is quite an interesting tactic. Let's see how this plays out...![]()
Second,
This is true. We cannot be 100% sure on Bunny. In no way am I saying 'Bunny is scum, kill him' but it's a striking observation to see him tell me to stop responding to bozo and 'let people read' when I hadn't even gotten to respond to bozo's portrayal of my motives and intentions.

I did, until doubt crept into my mind with the posts this phase.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:33 pmI would presume he's calling Bunny badtown? Surely we have incredibly high confidence that Bunny is miller at this point, right?
Gun to my forehead, he's the miller.

I don't think either of us are out to make the other win or lose. At the very least I'm treating him as a teammate and working with him to get to the right answer. I'm loathe to read too much into a little thing but I'm not happy with your insertion of this frame (presuming worcej feels similarly to me, though maybe he doesn't, in which case never mind).snowy801 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 3:49 pmviewtopic.php?p=243721#p243721
You don't need to win an argument against Eden, just say enough that the conversation speaks for itself. Same with bozo
I think you attempt to outright force the other to concede some concept of debate when it was never about that at all
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
I absolutely think snowy and Bunny were wrong in their assumption that it was about 'winning an argument' when I went at it with you.President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:52 pmI don't think either of us are out to make the other win or lose. The goal was to get your motive and explanation for what you did. I got it and, while wrong (only because I know my own role and alignment), it makes logical sense for you with your information to reach those conclusions.

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
True as to the vested interest, but I kind of doubt they're all going to fall on their sword to buy bozo a day or so. I'm obviously biased in this but it seems to me that only town would be bothering to question your claim given how hostile so many people were to the idea that you might not be the real Doctor. Certainly the only two people lining up to ask the question are myself (who I know to be town 100%) and Bunny (who I am almost 100% certain is Miller). What's the point for mafia to go against the grain on something like this when it's such a losing battle?worcej wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:27 pmThe scum team is clearly 100% together in trying to get bozo through this CC battle. I think the best move from mafia POV, if you're the real Doc, is probably to hammer home the narrative that bozo is mafia, cut their losses, and try to frame townies who got the answer wrong, taking advantage of town's desperation to have some real progress in a game that denies them much of any proof of it.

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Yea on further reflection I kinda think they just wanted to defuse what they saw as a TvT argument. Certainly that's Bunny's motive at least. snowy too probably, even if mafia, or at least wants to look that way.worcej wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:56 pmI absolutely think snowy and Bunny were wrong in their assumption that it was about 'winning an argument' when I went at it with you.President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:52 pmI don't think either of us are out to make the other win or lose. You can fry them yourself.

Why do you presume this? He's clearly implying otherwise.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:33 pmI would presume he's calling Bunny badtown? Surely we have incredibly high confidence that Bunny is miller at this point, right?
That we believe something does not speak to his own beliefs.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
The reason I'm fairly confident about bozo is the complete lack of conflicting opinions. It feels like scum have given up their teammate.

Fret not my boy, I shall make all clear for you.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
I believe this will be true as well. The people questioning you will be the people with a vested investment in investigating, not setting an agendaPresident Eden wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:57 pmTrue as to the vested interest, but I kind of doubt they're all going to fall on their sword to buy bozo a day or so. When you live up in the ivory conftower, you fall out of touch with the normies.Vecna wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:39 amIm actually starting to worry that Jasnah just let Bunny cc her, take the PR claim, to see if scum would kill him.
Bunny feels so tone-deaf this game at times. Like he is completely out of tune with anything most people appear to feel?
(or maybe im just completely wrong about everything, but yo)
