You have literally never seen not-town Eden in a mafia game in your life.

I have said that I dunno how many times as crewmate too. I say it whenever I’m rightfully in a POE pool.Chaqa wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 12:52 pmYesVecna wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 7:06 aminteresting observation. can you confirm this chaqa?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 11:11 pm
I have seen not-town Eden plenty of times as imposter make this exact 'I understand that from an outside POV, I look scum, but from my pov, I'm not, so xyz'
Y’all are just forcing evidence to fit and not listening. Luckily we have a lot of misses left still, but it’s frustrating that nobody even cares to look at the world where I just got it wrong in a virtually zero info game. If that’s the standard I straight up don’t want to play anymore, that’s way too much stress and expectations for this to be fun.

Peak I dunno-not convinced much by bozo's defense, but it exists now at least. Think both should die at some point, but unsure if we should take the shot on either one right now. Mafia pretty much have to block one of the three claimants at this point, right? I also think Mafia can't really afford to NK any of the big talkers, because that's where a solid chunk of our day kill suspicions are, so they might be forced to go for a lurker.President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 12:40 pmThe more important question is, what’s your take on the Doc claims and how we should proceed from here?
I think we need to find a quantum computer to imagine the two separate worlds where Worcej is scum and where Bozo is scum, see what each player looks like in both of those situations, and proceed from that.
I'd say the WorceJ's certainty about Chaqa cop is still suspicious, but less so with the doc claim (Power Role PLayer complaining about power roles having to claim because they're being attacked, it makes sense), and night 2 posts scan as town to me. But if we simply assume WorceJ has to be the real doctor, that's an assumption that can give the game up to Mafia, because we won't actually know which is which. So I guess we should enjoy our two doctors, just like we enjoyed two cops yesterday, Chaqa, and the mysterious (or deceased) 2nd secret cop

Swearing in, 45 minutes from now.
Clever little shits

I'm also shocked he's town but if jasnah did that like... She didn't play to her wincon and we didn't really have a chance. Don't think she did tho.Vecna wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:39 amIm actually starting to worry that Jasnah just let Bunny cc her, take the PR claim, to see if scum would kill him.
Bunny feels so tone-deaf this game at times. Like he is completely out of tune with anything most people appear to feel?
(or maybe im just completely wrong about everything, but yo)
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
And yeah, I don't think you're actually scum, but I don't know you're town, and like I said before, it's odd to me that people will scumread, but not actually vote. But, you're not gonna be the d3 kill, unless something crazy happens.
Good luck with the case!

I don't hate the suggestion by flum (?) to not immediately kill bozo on D3. Mafia don't have any power roles other than godfather right?

Just double checked setup, no powers there.
We're also getting close to day3, JOAT could possibly claim once we hit day4, if they used powers everynight.

Quick edit to be more clear-

relax, the fact anyone even remotely thinks you might be scum here just means they respect your assumed scum prowess.President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 1:09 pmI have said that I dunno how many times as crewmate too. I say it whenever I’m rightfully in a POE pool.

And fitting evidence to fit is something that happens all the time. You did that to chaqa as well.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
I want to hear PE's progression from Chaqa is scum to Chaqa is town cop actually.
I must have missed that somewhere.

Largely tied to bozo being mafia—I suppose a bus is possible but his last-minute switch looks great if bozo is mafia.
Though in retrospect I still don’t really know how to process EOD2. I was there and had no idea what was happening. The more I think about it, it’s a good spot to have bused I guess. Idk
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Ok, gonna just jump ahead to the conclusion section->Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 3:55 am
I claim that the votes for d2 during the period of flux (EoD2) show that town has not consolidated on any one general POE. Even as late as half an hour out, there was almost no wagon consolidation until it was clear that it was going to be bozo, worcej, and tom. This means that almost no info can be gained from the votes before the consolidation. A central objective of town should be to establish consensus reads and work from there, therefore.
I also claim that Tom was a scum-driven wagon on the basis of the fact that when push came to shove, a majority of the online players moving rushed to bozo. Only snowy, bunny, and kgray moved to Tom, and kgray only after initially moving to bozo. Therefore, Tom is most likely town.
Next, I claim that scum did not push worcej, although they preferred the wagon (but were not tied to it). This is a related claim to my previous one, in that no one online who was on worcej didn't move except for bozo. This singles out flum (voted him early over a weak scumread and very late, and doesn't mention him much); boat man (who had a weak scumread of him at the beginning of the day but then almost never mentions him), and sabi (who only has gut reads against him, despite having not read most of d2 and n1).
Lastly, I claim that the bozo wagon was town driven as well, although scum could easily have hidden on it. Bozo was almost never anyone's first choice for the dk, but was generally a consensus 2nd place who accordioned up and down throughout the whole day. There is no reason that scum could not also have made that argument, so I don't have any ideas about how many scum were on the bozo wagon.
It seems like quite a few players like that we didn't end up killing the doctor claimant. So why does that make Tom a scum-driven wagon? Our two doctors, because of the claim, are probably gonna to be hanged at some point. It makes sense to me, as town, if you don't want to kill one of the doctors right now, to instead go for the biggest wagon there is. Or is the argument that tom being the biggest non-doctor wagon is scum indicative? Saying people rushed to Bozo, instead of Tom, so tom must be town, doesn't really make sense to me.
The WorceJ argument, meanwhile, seems to be the exact opposite? players on WorceJ jumped off after the doctor claim, therefore because they jumped off they must be town... but wouldn't mafia be fine jumping off, because the two claims means town sorta has to hang both? Both claimants in the moment look scummy. If WorceJ is scum, Mafia jump off because they don't want to kill teammate & have an excuse with doctor claim (I guess they don't know WorceJ would claim, but... why wouldn't WorceJ claim if scum?). If WorceJ is town, Mafia jump off because the CC means we have to consider killing both WorceJ and Bozo at some point, so why bother killing now?
And wouldn't a second choice wagon be great for Scum players? They don't have to be out in the lead arguing anything about why they're voting where they're voting. They can just say "Well, I don't love this wagon, but I guess w/e" and be pretty sure no one would notice either way, while also not throwing too much pressure on the person they're voting for if they are scum, and if htey're not, they're still happy to vote for an enemy. I know I basically literally said "Well, I don't love this wagon, but I guess w/e", with my Tom vote, but I mean, it IS something I could see scum doing.
Am I just totally off here? If I'm wrong, just quote this with "No". If I'm right, "Yes". TY :)

Yeah, after soaking on it, I still have no reason to townread Tom yet
