This is a another mischaracterization. I think we shouldn't kill Chaqa for now, not that we should necessarily consider he's the cop forever. I am coming around on him maybe actually being the cop, though.

Don't blame me, you already want tokgray wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:42 pmIt is cute. And actually, Rivera got me to join mafia in the first place - wow thanks a lot Rivera![]()

It's not, it's literally one thing I'm objecting to, but why is this important for you to clarify anyway?

Multiple people think the primary job of town is to hunt bad town and not the mafia given comments made to be on D1, so yes I think some are surprised that the optimal behavior is to try and take shots at potential scum instead of your hard town reads.President Eden wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:38 pmI am missing what’s so weird about people wanting to vote off someone besides jasnah. If they think jasnah is town, isn’t it optimal to vote where there might be mafia?

I would like worcej and lfischl specifically to discuss their jasnah vote and their current reads.

Great, so you don't think I'm bussing him. Find someone else to push your garbage scumreads on.ghug wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:39 pmThis is a another mischaracterization. Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
It makes me like both a bit more. Rd less so, because I think this game could be less enjoyable without flips for scum too. I think everyone knew this was terribly scumsided coming in as well, so it gets a little less weight than it would in a normal game.snowy801 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:20 pmWhich way do you think Durga's complaint makes you lean for her? I assume positive, but to be clear.ghug wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:09 pmI find complaining about the setup to actually be much better for determining alignments than most mechanical talk, because at its core it's an expression of emotion.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 11:33 am
Why are we discussing this hypothetical that won't happen anyway. This game is so scum sided it hurts.
rdrivera also complained about the nature of the the no flips making the game unenjoyable for him. Do you have any takes on that?

The rd take and the bunny take.kgray wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:30 pmWhat do you mean, "both"? I'm making one point here. Are you even reading what I'm saying before you make this baseless accusations?ghug wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:20 pmThose are both incredibly easy things to take issue with as scum.kgray wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 2:30 pm
You said you don't understand my thought process this game (and indicated you were scumreading me for that) but I had almost this exact reaction to rivera's post, shared your skepticism about Bunny's you/bona analysis, and have had similar questions about snowy. It's like you're ignoring all that and only focusing on the fact that I didn't save worcej and it's really frustrating me.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
It's not, I thought it was funny to see 1 and 2 where I saw 3
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
To be fair, the people who didn't follow you there were scum, the jester, and Johnny Big Horse. You got all the townies, and were convincing enough that I was confident voting for you.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:35 pmI don't think Kgray said this, but if she did I will take as a great compliment.
Honestly, I usually have a hard time convincing people of my thoughts even when I am totally sure of it (remember the game I was cop and people still choose to believe Bozo). I think she write things more objectively and people tend to follow her.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Weird, that's what damo said about his copscan.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Also since someone mentioned it earlier (Vecna?) I wanted to shoot off Macca in the item madness game for being anti-town because we literally only had the option of shooting her off or no killing.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:40 pmMultiple people think the primary job of town is to hunt bad town and not the mafia given comments made to be on D1, so yes I think some are surprised that the optimal behavior is to try and take shots at potential scum instead of your hard town reads.President Eden wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:38 pmI am missing what’s so weird about people wanting to vote off someone besides jasnah. I mean sure I'll often call for voting off lurkers and such but mostly when it's hard to tell their alignment, not when I think they're town but also terrible.

How do you even get from what you said to what I said here?kgray wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:41 pmGreat, so you don't think I'm bussing him. Find someone else to push your garbage scumreads on.

How is this a weird justification? Chaqa had claimed cop in the final 7 minutes of the day and my vote was on him. Therefore I had to vote for someone else...because I don't want to kill the cop. This seems pretty self-explanatory. If you're wondering why worcej, I wanted to go after someone else to save Jasnah and it just so happened that the second biggest wagon after Chaqa was worcej, someone I had previously voted for and had slight scum reads on. Seems to be a pretty obvious vote.

At the same time, he refuses to talk about the ringleader of the late-D1 "SAVE JASNAH!" push. (i.e. Ghug), and indicates a refusal to talk about him until several days from now.
If its so important to avoid discussing Ghug, why did you want to discuss events in which Ghug was a pivotal actor?
Not fucking helpful Chaqa.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Wait, other way around.

It was a pretty one sided vote, I think 7-2? So I see where he's coming from
That being said I hardly think that result was your fault, rdrivera

You stand accused of being too careful and always justifying your actions when no such justifications are necessary.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 6:49 pmHow is this a weird justification? You said you think I'm bussing Chaqa. Now you are saying you think he might actually be the cop. How the hell do you think I'm bussing Chaqa if you think he's the cop?
