Figure it outJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 3:02 pmAnd this one?
You strongly advocated for Jasnah votes; what changed your mind?
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
My current thoughts, as much a note to self as a N1 readslist
BSabi - pleasant newb, tad naive maybe, assuming town (would be a very strong scum performance as a newb)
Bona - difficult to read as ever, I assume not online for EOD as vote stayed on Chaqa, null
Bozo - seems a bit understated, slightly scum side of null
Bunny - assume Miller
Chaqa - could be cop, VT or scum, to be discussed tomorrow should he survive
Doom247 - solid performance from newb, townlean
Durga - initially thought she was town, now not quite so sure but still townside of null but only just
Flum - I don't know why he's on my case and he seems to be playing quite oddly. However this would seem unlikely if scum so assuming town for the moment
ghug - I think he would be posting less and differently if scum so assume town but not with great confidence
Jamie - nothing unusual, slight townlean
kgray - impossible to read, I don't particularly scumread her but would not be averse to a kgray dk due to scum skills (sorry kgray)
lfischl - doing the minimum again, null, townside if pushed
Pres Eden - my strongest townread
rdr - minimal posting, null
snowy - really not sure about snowy, please obvtown if you are
TheFlyingBoat - I find TFB hard to understand but I get a town impression
Tom - something not right as others have mentioned, want to his reaction to pressure tomorrow
Vecna - hasn't obv'd yet, I'm sure he will, null for timebeing
worcej - not really sure why he was such a big wagon yesterday, null at mo
I doubt I will be the NK with some other obvious candidates. Tomorrow I will almost certainly be voting a D1 worcej voter.

Sigh…I just wanted them seen before i die tonight. Most of them are even more subtle. Didn’t trigger the “removal” of the link.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Yeah I'm sorry to harp on this again and probably I'll regret it, but you never did answer what *besides the jasnah thing* you think Durga has indicated she knows too much about. Or at least, I missed/can't find it. I understand having a 'wtf' reaction, but you supported your reaction by saying this wasn't the first time you've noticed stuff like this, and I don't know what else you're talking about.President Eden wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 4:55 pmdurga - still think there was something to her comment about jasnah's claim and alignment. it's really hard to explain if you weren't there for it, but it was quite jarring in the moment - if you reread around when she said it there's like six people who all had some variant on "wtf" as a reaction lol.
admittedly, i have mostly disregarded the rest as tonal/posting style difference and not really alignment indicative, which is why i didn't bring it up. i had for a time dropped her to null before EOD and reviewing, which is why my argument for her being mafia stems from her interactions with chaqa (which i didn't notice in detail until rereading) and her EOD moves.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Still kind of a weird thing to say since worcej was apparently your strongest scumread?

How come you're sure Vecna will obvtown but I won't? This is discriminationdamo666 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:09 pmMy current thoughts, as much a note to self as a N1 readslist

I've re-read your posts at EoD a few times and I can't see where you explained this total change of mind. I'd like you to explain it.
Potato, potato; potato.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
It's so weird to like Jamiet's game for once. I don't think this has ever happened before

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Because the setup was a bit broken, CaptainMeme ended up being the only town alive but had no chance to win so he trolled around and got me to hammer myself with wacky endvote rules after my team had an auto lol.President Eden wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 4:02 pmThat is heinousJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 3:47 pmThe Mafia was the majority:

I feel this is similar logic to the witch trials where they are innocent if they drown.

Does anyone have meta on Bona. He's come across super townie to me so far based on how active and stream of conscious he is but I have no idea what his scum game is like.

admittedly, i have mostly disregarded the rest as tonal/posting style difference and not really alignment indicative, which is why i didn't bring it up. i had for a time dropped her to null before EOD and reviewing, which is why my argument for her being mafia stems from her interactions with chaqa (which i didn't notice in detail until rereading) and her EOD moves.

i should have just cited chapter and verse at the time, i expected i would remember and then didn't.
i am disregarding it as tonal/posting style because when i went back to read her i couldn't find examples of it specific to people's alignment, she just talks down to us all the time which comes off like someone who knows better than us and is so exhausted with having to show a bunch of morons how it's done. and while one reason for that would be actually knowing more (being mafia), on further reflection it just shows up everywhere, regardless of whether the subject is someone's alignment. an example from a mechanics discussion which obviously would have nothing to do with foreknowledge from being mafia:
on my end, i find that highly annoying and tedious to deal with, because the biggest factor in town victories is cohesion and working as a team, and that approach directly works against that goal because it belittles teammates and encourages the kind of stupid ego battles that drag town into unnecessary quagmires and let mafia waltz to victory. i don't mean to single durga out for this either because there are several players who do this, it's not just her, but she ended up in the crosshairs because i mistook my personal antipathy for this style as a reason to think she's mafia when, on further reflection, it's just not.Durga wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 3:11 amI can't understand why some people bother making the same ridiculous suggestion d1 of every game. Guess what, mafia don't get killed unless we do it. They're certainly not dying at night, and we're not waiting 5 game phases for some cop who may or may not be dead to tell us what to do for "information"
i do think she's mafia, but not for the above; that's just a style difference that i'm unlikely to ever see eye to eye on, but doesn't point to alignment.
i know that was a big long winded but i didn't think i did a good job explaining it before, and i reached some additional internal clarity about why i reacted the way i did, so i figured a more complete explanation was appropriate

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
I don't think I've ever felt so comfortable and at ease with a ghug day 1 performance. He's probably scum. (This isn't even really a joke)
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
He's claiming that he was only pushing jasnah because he was confident she wasn't PR, and wanted to give himself more time to get scans. Once he was outed, that was no longer necessary.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:16 pmI've re-read your posts at EoD a few times and I can't see where you explained this total change of mind. If Chaqa truly is the cop, trying to kill someone he didn't scumread and lying about why was a terrible way to blend in with the rest of the town.

As scum he makes mistakes, but it could be that he was just a noob when I saw him as scum.Fluminator wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:27 pmDoes anyone have meta on Bona. Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
I mean, that's a better reason to scumread me than most people's, but nobody else seems to be comfortable and at ease with my day 1. Why are you?Fluminator wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:29 pmI don't think I've ever felt so comfortable and at ease with a ghug day 1 performance. He's probably scum. (This isn't even really a joke)
