Well shit, huh.
I thought I'd have a lot more posts to get back to, and also a lot less actual info to process.
Guess it's good it's that's way though?
I do have a quick mechanics question: I thought oracle gets multiple reads that all activate on death? Is it only one? Cause that changes things quite a bit.
Second, will we know for sure something is a mafia kill as opposed to JOAT?
For night time, we should just send out vibes and maybe small things about what we'd like power rules to do? Or is mostly just relax before we stress out about next day actions? Already saw people say we should keep talk about most topics away.

I think Oracle gets only 1 read (they can change what that is until it activates).Doom427 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 1:43 amWell shit, huh.

I don't think our JOAT has a kill, so all night deaths are caused by mafia.
Mostly relax, but don't really worry too much about the RPS of it all. If you have something you think is really important, mention it closer to the end of the night.
Time to get back to my manhattan.
Oooh, should I bring back the Drunk Bunny persona?
no...I think we should get EMC to draw him going out to pasture somewhere. A pasture full of Vespers.

I don't see logical progressions between the pushes and it strikes me as they don't care as long as any of those players die.ghug wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 12:10 amWhy is showing no restraint scummy?worcej wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 10:56 pmCell phone posting issues when under time constraints.
My main reads have been spread in throughout my posts, but I am not liking snowy primarily because he had quite a few people he would be willing to flip D1 and showed no restraint in pushing those people.
I am kinda meh on Jaime so far, mostly because of lack of energy or contributing and is instead coming off as catching up too much compared to normal.
I’ve beat a dead horse on Durga - My first gut is to town her but when I write that I struggle to see any real town!Durga tells. She also falls into the snowy camp where she had far to many people willing to kill on D1 than I feel comfortable processing.
I said my short piece on Sabi. In general, I am getting the Flavius vibe from Sabi - playing stupid and acting it up to hide they are scum.
Otherwise, I currently hard-town Vecna, Eden, Bunny, Doom, and you kgray. Chaqa would be on this list, but like jasnah, I am now a little pissy at the anti-town behavior to issue ‘potential’ fake claims just to live. We’ve seen this blow up in people’s face far too often.

For basic robots, only mining and agriculture jobs are simple enough (for whatever reason technician is not a valid robot job)President Eden wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 12:37 amStellaris fam, what jobs are considered "complex" such that Droids cannot work them? TIA.
Once droids are researched, any non-ruler jobs are enabled depending on your AI worker rights.

First analysis of a pair of players: Bona-Durga
They've impressively voted for a combined 11 people (Bona voted 4 and Durga 8, and both voted Chaq and different times).
As for their interactions. Despite talking around each other and in parallel with each other, they manage to address each other exactly once. (for any new players, or old players who don't know go to https://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/search and type in Bona* the star gets you anything starting with Bona and search for words Durg*, then swap).
Bona only mentions Durga when he's quoting someone else about her, or including her in a list of everyone.
He cheerfully asks kgray why she's including durga on her list of possible scum.
When ghug votes Durga, his response is "So scummy it can't be scum"
And that's basically it (he references her interactions with others a couple times and always in ways that subtly compliment her, but never really address her or have her as the main topic).
Swapping now Durga mentions Bona a total of 4 times all day including in quotes. First to say on page 6 that there are no actual game reasons to kill Bona. OF COURSE NOT...it was page 6!
Then later Durga/snowy/kgray are talking about bozo.
Conclusions? I'm just surprised that the two of them managed to both be fairly active, and basically the same times, and engage with lots of players--except each other.
Time for sleep (my date is complaining about the typing waking her).

Then she told Bona he was being a bit much:
He wasn't addressing her, and she immediately makes a second post before anyone else to change the subject.Durga wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 1:11 amtbh you're feeling a little over the topBonatogether wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 1:09 amI couldn't find the post of ghug's but it was something like 'town bona is just weird and gets killed for it, scum bona imitates that in an over-the-top way but it works cause it's counterintuitive'
Then later Durga/snowy/kgray are talking about bozo.
And that's about it.Durga wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 6:55 pmOh I remember that now. All of that felt really forced to me, and hyper focused on you, which is also weird.

Alloys? I've been looking into how to index front run. I would have thought it'd be all arbitraged by now, but action this last month suggests otherwise.

What conclusions do you draw from it? You did the analysis.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 3:57 amFirst analysis of a pair of players: Bona-Durga

I go get drunk end there are literally zero new posts.
I tested negative for the coronavirus today, so I am pleased.
We killed jasnah, so I am displeased.
Good morning, Europeans.

It was lame. These guys play without a single excel sheet or having all the event text files open like amateurs
What are you even doing with your life if you're not metaslaving strategy games

"Hi ghug. I'm happy you don't have the coronavirus. You're clearly town but I might not be." -Nice Durga
