Meanwhile, inside Baskin-Robbins...

Gus Handed the second of the twins an cone as Darren finished up the grandmother's milkshake. Outside a small convoy of cars, led by an old pickup truck, pulled up to the curb. A small army of cameraman, boom operators, and producers swarmed out of the cars as the door to the truck swung up.

The woman swung her legs out and lurched out of the truck with a grunt. The yruck immediately shot back up at least four inches as the weight shifted. Gus was in horrified awe as the grandmother quickly rustled the twins to a far back table.

The woman threw open both doors and lumbered up and slammed both hands on the counter, as the TV crew slid into position in the store. Gus regarded the woman as stoically as possible. "What can I ge-"

"Ice Cream." The woman cut him off. Gus stopped, somewhat startled at the borderline brutal tone.

"Ok ma'am, what flavor?"

"Orange Sherbet" She replied, staring darts though him into his soul.

Gus nodded and headed for the case. "And what size wou-"

"The container." The woman again cut him off and Gus stopped dead.

"Excuse me?"

"Did I stutter? The. Whole. Container." She repeated bluntly. Gus felt a cold chiver running down his spine, and not from the case. He slowly walked to the counter and starting punching keys on the register.

That comes to," Gus cleared his throat, "$215.32"

The woman slammed a card on the counter. Gus took it, defeated, and swiped the charged through, and cleared his throat. "Alright ma'am, let me get a freezer pack for your-"

"No." The stopped, "I'm eating it now." She produced a large serving spoon from somewhere, Gus did not want to know where, and held her hands out. Gus slowly removed the entire tub from the freezer case, handing into her waiting arms. She took the tub and slowly made her way to a carefully arranged set of four chairs set up by one of the men with her. The chairs groaned, some feat of engineering keeping them up. She proceeded to dive in with an unholy vigor.

Gus, Darren, and Brad stared in morbid awe. "Well," Gus started, "You better grab another tub from the deep freeze Darren."

Darren never looked away from the carange happening in front of him. "No can do man, the truck never came in."

Gus, likewise, couldn't tear his eyes from the quickly disappearing tub. "Well sh...crap. I guess that one is off the menu then."

JASNAH has DIED! They were ORANGE SHERBET.
