Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
And yes I have a reason for doing that.
##CALL GM:
Are Fluminator and Bozo's votes being counted as votes for Fluminator? I assume not but wanted to check.
I think the bot is not accurate today and the wagons are actually:
Jasnah (5) - BunnyGo*, worcej*, Tom Bombadil, Doom427, Chaqa
Fluminator (3) - TheFlyingBoat, snowy801, damo666
Ghug (3) - Durga, Vecna, Jamie
TheFlyingBoat (3) - Kgray, Fluminator, Bozo

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
Thanks very much GM. I confirm that my vote for "Flux Capacitor" was a test to see if the Bot would read it as a vote for Flum.DemonRHK wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 12:57 pm##GM NOTEJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 12:05 pm##CALL DARGORYGEL (the Bot GM):
and ##CALL GM for the sake of accurate Vote Counting:
The Bot is picking up votes for "FlyingBoat" (without the "The") as if they are votes for Fluminator.
Votes for "TheFlyingBoat" (with the correct "The" at the start) are being correctly logged.
I wonder if the Bot can be tweaked to distinguish between "Flum" and "Flying" ?
Jamie is correct. While the bot shows 6 Votes for flum there are at least two votes not counted correctly:
- Flum's own vote, which is on TheFlyingBoat
- Jamie's attempt to test the constraints of the bot, which will be counted as being on jasnah at this time.
Players are encouraged to please for the time being to make sure that you do lead any votes for TheFlyingBoat with 'The' or 'TFB' and to make sure that any votes for Fluminator contain at the least, 'flum', as it seems the bot picks up any workd beginning with 'fl-' as a flum vote.
Manual vote counts will be posted at 6, 2, and 1 hours to go, as well as least 30, 10, and 5 minutes to EoD.
My vote is now genuinely on Ghuggles.

Wait I thought you said Flum trying to get himself killed was normal? You didn’t know that’s what he was doing here?Durga wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 12:59 pmOhhh that's what that was about LOLJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 12:24 pmIn these posts, Flum noticed the Bot error and even attempted to create a fake wagon on himself:

Does anyone ever truly know what Fluminator is doing?

@BunnyGo: I have a question for you.
If Jasnah has not clearly retracted, and if we kill Jasnah today, and if the JOAT does not then wish to use the Autopsy on Jasnah and declare the result, would you object to us killing you tomorrow?

I mean...*I* know that is using a town miskill. And I think most people strongly suspect it is.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 1:25 pm@BunnyGo: I have a question for you.

I think it's anti-town for town to remove a near clear. Let the scum team waste a kill on me. Let them play RPS with the doctor over protecting me and saving any night kill.
That said: I'd like to think I'm good enough to play this way as a scum team member. I don't actually think I am, but I'd like to be.
And I don't think I'm a hugely good hunter. But I don't think I'm below average either.
All that said: I think it's probably a bad play, and would object to town teammates making what they should consider a bad play. But I'd be amused to see people try for about half a day. That's probably worth something to town.
Also, I'd not object to having more time in my life. I still think I need to vote Dargo for dragging me back. But I'm glad I've given him and the GM something to ponder about my signals, I'm rather pleased with them and hoping the cop can figure them out.
Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
What? I said he was self voting and I wasn't going to join him. There was a 24 hour gap between this and his weird flyingboat thing. Unless you're referring to another comment in which case I don't recall and you'll have to point me to it.kgray wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 1:02 pmWait I thought you said Flum trying to get himself killed was normal? Thank you for this answer. Your response makes sense. I certainly remain of the view that we should kill Jasnah *first*. Or Ghug of course.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 1:36 pmI mean...*I* know that is using a town miskill. Can I just check something.... Has it been established that if the Miller is killed, do they give false results to the Oracle or the JOAT Autopsy? Or, is it only the Cop that gets the wrong result from scanning the Miller?
I assume the latter, but is that clear?

Re: M70 - THE BASKIN-ROBBINS CONSPIRACY [HIDDEN]
The point is that his self-vote was not actually a self-vote. It was a vote for "FlyingBoat" which the Bot recorded as a self vote because there was no "The" in front of "Flying".
So, you thought he was actually self-voting but technically he wasn't.

Oh, that's a good idea. That lets the Oracle lock onto someone else.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 1:25 pm@BunnyGo: I have a question for you.

I have not confirmed it with the GM, but it seemed clear in the rules. ##CALL GM, if the oracle power is used on a dead miller (or godfather) does the result come back true?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 1:43 pmThank you for this answer. Well, it should be a plan, because it's the best idea anyone's had about this situation yet.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 1:49 pmIt was a question,Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 1:46 pmOh, that's a good idea.
