I just don't see why mafia either fake claims or fake counter claims to this, though I admit my first statement applies to this one too

...I guess a scum BunnyGo might feel compelled to fake counterclaim, if for some godsforsaken reason we have already solved the game and he's feeling desperate enough to shut down D1 discussion, but I don't see such consensus existing on the board

The one incentive that comes to mind for either side to fakeclaim is that BunnyGo was already under the gun, and might have seen a chance to force a 50/50 on himself and jasnah. Pretty good play to take our clear down with him if so. That's why I think we should decide which one we believe and stick with it instead of going 50/50.

Bunny is nowhere near bad enough to panic under hardly any pressure with over 24hrs to go in D1. I see no reason to not believe Bunny. The safe thing would be to just kill both, but I don’t even know if that will be needed.

I think this is where I'm at.

Checking back in from the pub. I see that Bunny has apparently cc'ed Jasnah's Miller claim.

This is excellent news because I cannot see a scenario where two sensible town would do this. Either one of them is scum, or one of them is a complete idiot.

We should hang Jasnah and BunnyGo, in either order. Apologies to whichever one is telling the truth, but the trade off is worth it for the greater good of the town.

Uh what? Why is it a fake sounding claim? Given how many people wanted a D1 claim from the miller while the majority of others wanted a claim at the EoN1 it reallllly stretches credulity to believe someone who cares about winning a lot would fake claim miller for the lolz.

Why immediately believe BunnyGo? Why are you certain enough to end on it, symbolic as it may be?

Bunny has been a townlean of mine and if I have to kill one of the two I'm picking the null. Go look back on his posting now with that reveal and you see him reference the miller and how it should play a lot. He did this back when he was the mailman role (I forget the exact role, but could send a PM via GM to someone and they could send a response back) and I was the item maker and we used that connect for me to give the gun to him.

His style now matches that same situation exactly so I believe he is the Miller.

Ultimately, I think they both die.

Why'd you end vote?
I called it symbolic because certainly the argument can be made to vote both them out, in which case an actual effort ought to have been expended to call for quick back to back ends and you didn't. What went through your mind?

I can't give you a detailed logical argument for why it is, but I call bullshit on Durga's "obviously fake claim" post. She's had one too many of these posts that scream "I know what's really going on and none of you do."

I'm undecided on the Miller claims. We haven't heard enough from jasnah on the subject to make a meaningfully informed decision.
