I read your post but you already lost me where the doc claims 2nd
Staggered reveals are fine but should come about naturally more or less. Each day and night we'll have the opportunity to evaluate whether a claim would be appropriate

I undervalued doc and have changed my mind.

I think the reveal order should be:

Miller Day 1 or EON1
Oracle once they have something to reveal
Jack once powers used
Doc
Cop

Obviously a PR under wagon pressure or a false scum claim could change the order.

If I understand the role correctly, the oracle will only have something to reveal when they are dead.

Reveal who they are once they have submitted their reveal order. Sorry for not making that clearer.

I mean, it's possible it was just a joke and I really misread it; saying "is this the part where I tell everyone my role" would make some sense as a joke. But the lack of smiley faces and PE answering seriously about when to claim, and the response "I'm one of the roles listed above, did I do that right?" and the follow-up "You'll go far" sorta made me lean toward MIller Soft-Claim? Maybe I'm just too conservative, but I would just flat out not respond to that unless I wanted to stake out a role?

But yeah, I guess that could have just been a joke. I might be thinking through this too seriously

Can the Miller claim? We can improve our odds from 4/21 to 4/20 and I really like that number for some reason.

So I’ve thought about how to approach this game a little more and here is where I’m at.

1) normally I have a list of people I will never try to wagon D1 because I think they are good town players and D1 is such a guess that you should kill someone who could be scum but also won’t help a ton as town. I think the opposite is true this game - we should be targeting people who are good as scum, because with limited information our best hope is to keep people around who struggle as scum. We should be targeting players with strong scum games. For example, I think Jamie is easy to read as either alignment, so I do not think he should be targeted early here. ghug I would normally not think about on D1 but would be a logical D1 wagon in this setup.

I truly believe we need chaos at the end of days. Information is so limited that scum don’t need to bus so it’s more difficult to trap them into wagons on their teammates. Flash wagons eliminate scum influence and potentially give us connections between players.

At least for the first few days that’s how I think it should go. Hopefully after that we can have some scans, and town flips from night kills to actually have some information to them analyze early EOD wagon movement.

I'm going to circle back to this and say that this was an interesting point.

My list of 'Good Scum', meaning scum players that are able to hide well, are the following:

1. kgray
2. Chaqa
3. Tom Bomb
4. Bona
5. Bunny
6. ghug

Everyone not on this list has tells that I think the collective are able to pick up easily.

Why not?

He is too engaged with his accusers for me to be comfortable saying he’s mafia. This matters for two reasons:

1. As mafia, his preferred way to deal with accusers is ignoring them and letting attention naturally shift elsewhere. Usually it works, and here he has ample time to let things play out. Reacting to accusers just digs them in further unless you do a particularly good job engaging them, and his preferred strategy is to avoid that risk by disengaging.
2. He gets indignant with false accusations sometimes, but almost never with true accusations. While he wasn’t overly upset, there’s a tinge of it in some of his responses that shined through.

I also think continued investment in mechanics talk is minorly indicative, but within his range.
