I think we should kill day 1 no matter what. If someone has a role, and is gonna die, they should claim. If they lie about their role, whoever has the power can claim, and we can kill both?

The risk of exposing an information-gathering role early is really high. It's unclear that a 1-for-1 trade actually benefits town in that situation (when it ordinarily would).
