I’ll leave that up to the players. I thought Bob and Maniac were doing a fine job but then there was some major town stepping-up.

I don't have a clear pick for that. Chaqa is a contender for it, I think, but if I hadn't been the nk I guess it would've come to a Chaqa vs Kakarroto that day.

Fox was very good in the beginning but was stopped early on, but I think his performance here is putting him at least up for contender.

Maybe lfischl for making town lose 3 or so days for the question "Who in the pool of Chaqa and ghug is mafia?" I don't want to like low participation though.

Come to think about it, it wasn't really flashy play, outsmarting your enemy or over the top reactions that won town the game, but a steady, cool and constant town play without mistakes. And I think rd did it the best this game. So if we have to vote for MVP, I'd vote rd.

I can't in good faith vote for the guy who tunneled me the whole game. I think the game was won on Chaqa and I ensuring neither of us were miskilled when it seemed so likely for so long, so he can have my vote.

Bit disappointed that we threw it at the end there, I think we should've been able to win, but a couple bad decisions from us and some good play from town flipped the game on its head. Congrats town. Also (mostly) well played Maniac, and thanks for letting us use your dead body lfischl.

I don't want to mention specific players but seeing as how this is a team vs team game, there were some notable moments.

a) the D1 kill of lfischl. Wind in the sails for town but not horrible for mafia.

b) repeated roleblock of celaph and kill of Foxcastle. PRs were nullified.

c) Maniac's RB claim; that chewed town up for a good spell.

There were definitely some others; I loved seeing the work around the possible pairs. There was such little information that it felt like town had to grasp at straws. I think I did comment in the god discord/thread how I felt Chaqa really jumped into a leadership position. Not that they were on the right track but they were just trying to drive the discussion.

Props to the final 4 (ghug, chaqa, maniac, rivera) and for town figuring it out for the win. I loved how the time difference didn't deter Maniac and Bob. They were really cruising and had some stellar plays and excuses worked out.

There were a lot of you I developed some mad respect for. This was a great collection of people to play mafia with.

And on that note, I have a lengthy hiatus coming my way. See you around December...hopefully.

Oh, and obviously I lost the plot as I was writing the deaths and then couldn't keep up.

I was expecting Bob and Maniac to pull it off and had the final scene as this:

"Just as they were coming to understand what it was they were looking at, flames arose just a short distance from the RV. They ran back inside and locked the door. They looked out the windows and realized they were surrounded. The flames grew closer and they began to make out the cloaked figures bearing torches. As the figures grew closer to the RV the screams from inside grew louder and sustained."

Hopefully some of you were inspired to watch the movie. It's a kid classic for me.

First of all, thanks for the GM for a great and fun game.

Second, I am relieved, being the deciding one in kilo is hard and I really had some doubts but in the end all ended well

I think Chaqa is MVP for sure, subbing in, avoiding being DKed and correctly townreading Ghug was key for town to have a chance at the end.

Thanks Kak. I think you played a great game. Your read on Bob bussing lfischl on D1 was spot on and you were NKed because you were obvtown.

I don't think I played my best town game, I got lucky with a "townslip" (I personally don't weight much townslips). I am having problems with this EOD/EON time, it's in the middle of my work hours and now that I am back to presencial work it's harder to be available.

I don't know about MVP. I was a big part in pushing out worcej and Bona.

I wish I had stuck to my gut townread on Bona as well, but other people swayed me away from it (partially why I remained so steadfast on ghug being town).

I thought it was a good game, hopefully we can keep the momentum up in the next one.
