Yeah, I remember, the order from the qt was nk ghug and shooting vecna, but you changed the target after ghug survived, I was thinking 'so close' then.

I think if I were to re-run this setup again, I would re-balance where the items could start with a bit, and also tweak the hot salsa and EoD wagon mechanics. The 3P was a bit easy to mechanically catch, but that was also part of the challenge.

Despite all of that, Vecna had 4/6 items at one point, and I think should have been able to steal the Chicken earlier, but Vecna missed that Jamie had it until it was too late.

The rice holders did very well with their shuffling.

I don't think the mafia was too weak, I think they suffered from losing Kak too early on. His role was extremely powerful.

I would probably also re-work the Chips a bit. Maybe it would be usable on an expended item, since it didn't turn out to factor into things too much.

The Lettuce was fun, but ultimately Kale seemed kinda pointless.

Originally it had a different effect, but I can't remember what.

So, what happened was that EMC and I planned the gist of this setup together many many months ago, but life got busy and he was unable to put as much time into it in the last few weeks as he wished. I had hoped he would provide some drawings and such, but I haven't actually gotten a response from him since before the game started. I don't know what he's up to ATM, but he hasn't even been on the site in over a month.

Eden stepped in to help out a bit, but I figured i'd just run things more or less solo since the setup is madness and I was the one who knew it.

It doesn't matter if I had the right scum reads earlier than anyone else, as Jamiet was going down D2 if I didn't intervene anyway. And like I kept saying, I think I even confused town more by doing things that way, since a lot of reason town read Jamiet afterwards instead of rightly suspecting the bus.

Bozo is my clear MVP here. He even told me the guaranteed path to victory, which I agreed with, then I somehow decided to just... not go through with it for whatever reason the next day.

I did learn a lesson this game which brain and snowy pointed out, that even if I think I need new ways to catch scum, acting scummy is not helpful to town and I should keep my thinking cap on even if I don’t always trust my left-brain thoughts to find scum.

I did not expect brainbomb to sub out. I don't remember saying anything overtly bad there, and thought I just asked him to consolidate his ideas and opinions before posting rather than quoting 30 posts in a row accusing anyone and everyone (as he does). Whatever he saw about me protecting Vecna is pure coincidence, though in retrospect a poor coincidence indeed.

But yeah, between that and Macca immediately agreeing that I'm toxic all game for what I felt was justified commentary with Jamiet (who even at the time I was sure was scum, much as I was town) kinda demoralized me and I thought I would let others step up to the plate.

But all's well that ends well I guess.
