while we have the time could someone share what items were claimed and also could anyone point me to which items there has been advisement on how to best use?

vecna - roleblock
jamiet - double vote
macca - faith healer

we suspect vig was in scum/3P's hands (I think 3P)

There are no outstanding recommendations for item use (except to consider shuffling it around, esp if claimed)

Day hammer was used (town, probably)

Whilst the above post is accurate, it worries me that people are soft clearing Doc, Cop and Roleblock claimants. I don't think any of them claimed before Ghug was killed. So if mafia were able to acquire the doc, cop, roleblock items they could so easily now claim and coast to the end game.

I'm sure someone else can do the maths, but there are 17 roles, six of which can't start with mafia. So discounting their own roles they are looking at trying to kill one of those roles n1 with odds of 6/13 and then they get another chance if they had the gun and killed ghug. I'd be very wary of even soft clearing the power PR claimants.

For completeness Ghug and Damo claimed RB n1, Snowy claimed RB n2 and Vecna says he RB'd WorTom n2, but I don't think WorTom has confirmed or denied that.

I’ll tell you why. I played a game over on MU between the last one here and this game. We flipped one scum and I made some strong townreads based on how that scum had acted and how other players were playing. Some people were saying stuff like “making town reads just based on content smh” and “content has nothing to do with alignment.” I didn’t understand until I was NKd and the other two scum, one I had locktown based on the flipped scum undermining people townreading them and the other was super townie analytical etc.

The bias I have had until now is thinking that scum play in a certain way, but that’s incorrect. I’ve made the same mistake here, e.g. when Chaqa makes big wall posts and I’m like “yeah ma boi CHAQA TOWN” but Chaqa is scum. Kgray same.

So yeah man I’m burning the house down because it’s rotted and infected with bad habits that don’t catch scum.

I thought damo and rdrivera were scum day 1, which means it makes perfect sense that they're PR. Sad reality of snowy reads.

For that, and other reasons, I wouldn't worry so much. Worry about it later, when that worrying becomes necessity.

You raise an excellent point, however, which may greatly elucidate the mystery of "who killed ghug".

Right now I’m exploring the fact that there is nothing inherently alignment indicative for Bob and snowy, who are called obvtown.

But, I’m going to wait and see how Tom/Vecna develops.
