I don't think it works like that. You give items away during the day but it is not effected until after EOD. The Dk will lose their item before the giving can be effected.

I think the safest thing to do is NK.

But I'm not averse to a Macca kill.

Ok. I was asleep by this point, and I'm pretty annoyed about it. There was no way I had to expect this. I have asked the GM if I can use it immediately, but either way I am mad.

this is why its important to wait before throwing all options out the window

Given that is was supposed to be used hours ago, I did not believe it fair to look first.

Making this decision was the first thing I did as it would have had to be done with none of this other information.

I don't want to NK, Macca is clearly town and actively throwing. Too dangerous to live. They will live to the end and lose the game.

They should still reveal their item. We can reveal who got the item at EoN3.

@Vecna is my interpretation of your vote correct? I see no downside to outright claiming as it quasi townclears snowy. Not claiming outright makes you look a possible 3p.

Just trying to come up with a more recent town/mafia list. Vecna's been a bit absent, but is there anything that suggests he's behaving badly? Does this statement tend to push him more likely town?
