Doubting Thomas and Damo both seem to think they're NK targets. Why?
Because I am town read by everyone so killing me would get rid of a town?
"Everybody" is... generous.

Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME

#1502 Post by rdrivera2005 » Tue Jul 17, 2018 8:52 pm

Well, I didn´t have much time to do a full re-read today, but I want to share my reads as I didn´t EON1.

1. BismarkAlive - I didn't have a big impression of him D1 other them some defensive posts, but I have an overall feeling of town leaning. In D2 he didn't improve and discussed mainly mechanics (have to look at Peterbot). Parked a vote on Peter and lurked away. Slight scummy.

2. Bozo - I always wrongly scumread Bozo, but this didn't happen on start of D1. But his “let´s lynch a newbie because one of them could be scum” make me suspicious of him EOD1. Then he defended Teacher the way he did at EOD2. Would him be so obvious as scum? I am torn on him. Null to scum.

3. Brainbomb - I can't figure out BB or his motivations. Sometimes he seems to really be scumhunting and sometimes he seems to be only spreading chaos. I didn't thought he was scum D1 and D2, but I think he could be the SK, this would explain his claim and also him looking so annoyed with the game at start. The interaction with Teacher seemed forced, but it could have been one sided. I don´t like doing this at this point but I will give him a Null.

4. damo666 - Another player that didn´t gave me an impression D1. And gave me a bad feeling D2 with his weak worcej push. If you find someone scum you push his lynch, not just keep voting and then jumping away to Peter with a “you are off the hook” message. He parked a vote on Peter with a massive hedge (“FWIW I think either Peter,Worcej or Teacher should go. Or just possibly Bozo or Yav.)”. He could be just newbie, but seem to know how to play. Scummy.

5. DemonRHK/Squiggs - Nothing from Demon. I liked the reads from Squigs and how he interacted with most of the players since beginning. Was a key vote on Teacher when it was tied. He look Towny to me.

6. DoubtingThomas - Town. I don´t believe his push on Teacher was a bus, in this case he deserves an Oscar.

8. Flash2015 - I got a townread on him D1. He seemed to be all around at D1, but seems to be trying to solve. Now he got upset with Brain (and with the other “veteran” players it seems) and decided to get less engaged. Anyway, I don't see scum doing this kind of move. And he gave another key vote on Teacher. Towny.

9. Foxcastle - My first scumread on D1, I really disliked his logic on voting for lurkers after saying it won't work as pressure. I also has an overall sense he is not pushing his reads. His defense of Teacher during the day was weird, but he voted on him and stayed in the end. Could he be bussing? Maybe. Still scummy to me.

10. Jamiet99uk - I have a town read of Jamiet D1, as aggressive Jamiet is usually town Jamiet. And I thought he was trying to solve, even tunneling BB hard D1. But his EOD2 was pretty lame, unvoting, staying on the side lane, claiming Cop, this just generate chaos and this isn´t town play. He could be the SK. I will give him the same Null I have for Brain at this point.

11. Peterlund - I don´t think scum Teacher will buss Peter that way on both days. I also fail to see what is soo scummy in his behaviour on D1 that justified the wagon on him. Towny.

16. Vecna - Vecna was tunneling hard on Peter and I fail to see a good reason to do that as scum. Not town clearing him, but scum don't usually tunnel town people this way. Slight town.

17. Worcej - The only impression he gave me on D1 was he was just sheeping the majority and hedging about it. His post after the flip is also scummy. And having his only solid scum lean on Peter after voting on webdip is another thing that didn't fit. His D2 was a bit better, he aswered the questions and explained better his reads. But he voted for Peter and jumped to Jamiet last moment, which could mean he was trying to save Teacher. Slight scum.

18. yavuzovic - Yav seems a bit off his usual obvious town meta this game, he looks more aggressive and less sheeping other people. But his D2 pushing Teacher was pretty solid, can´t see scum Yav bussing that hard the Ninja. Maybe he is just improving his play. I will give him a Slight Town.

Fox - possible but not probable. 11-1 against. (Or is it 5-1 [10-2])?

This conflicts with your statement not a page ago...

IF (big if) I survive the night I will reread entire thread in light of new information and post findings (probably in about 18 hours).
You seem to imply here that you don't expect to survive the night. You seem to imply here that your NK is more than possible, that it's probable.

Also not sure what to really make of bozo, rdrivera and yav.
Give'em an ISO and see what you come up with...

Bozo
Rdrivera
Yavuz
Now with 66% less shitty links...
Bozo
Rdrivera
Yavuz
Bozo - I can't see much that objectionable there. It was a hard choice between Peter and Teacher...and he did make the right choice in the end. I didn't understand though his exact reason for the final move to teacher ("so I think if teacher is scum then peter is probably scum as well") as I could not see two well established players as scum bringing attention to themselves like that. But I think I can give him the benefit of the doubt.

rdrivera - Isn't much activity...but when he is online I am struggling to find stuff I have an issue with. So I can't see him going into any lynchpool either.

yav - there isn't much substance to his iteractions but I feel he is being genuine.

Squiggs44 (forgot about him) - I think his reads are a bit reachy...I think he pushes it a bit. This may be a play style thing and a way for him to get a response. He has been a lot quieter since his initial burst of activity to get his town cred...so I think we need to watch him.

What's interesting is that you apparently know Yavuzovic was killed by the Mafia and not the SK.

Between the traitor being NK'd/SK'd, Teacher not being able to save himself with a PR claim and then ending up being the ninja, and now only a single night kill, we are getting some lucky breaks!

Alright guys. I did an iso on the interactions between teacher, worcej, and bb, thinking they were a scum team. I no longer think they are a scum team. The level and type of interactions between them gives me more of a town lean on BB, and I'm less sure of my worcej scum read. For now my vecna read is probably highest for scum. Damo and bismarck are also possibilities.
