Results of virtual Summer Classic 2021

[Hellenic Riot]

The Summer Classic was held on July 23rd-July 25th and was the largest virtual Diplomacy tournament to date this year, with over 40 players involved in 15 games (including the top board). The winner of the top board was guaranteed to win the tournament whilst the rest of the scores were added to the previously garnered tournament standings to work out the final results table. Seren Kwok won the top board and thus the tournament, whilst Karthik Konath and myself secured second and third to ensure a full clean sweep of the podium by webDiplomacy players, along with five of the best country awards!

Next up is the August edition of the Virtual Diplomacy League on Saturday 21st August, and then WeaselMoot on September 4th.

I strongly encourage anyone who is considering trying out virtual face to face to give it a shot! I started playing a few months ago and it's been a ton of fun. It's a great community with welcoming people and strong players, and the more webDippers the better!
