So I have a series of posts. I'll add them bit by bit here since it's focusing on parts of the vote. Also within will be questions I am thinking; in my typical fashion it's me thinking out loud.

I really thought I'd have Thursday under control but I miscounted the phases. So, I'll post tonight; tomorrow will be iffy.

Its simple, 4 players voted for you D1, and you expressed suspicion of all 4 while they were voting for you.

I divided the last part of the day into 4 separate sections. The first section has 4 votes between the 2:22 and 2:08 Time Remaining. The vote Darg posted on Bob led to the flattening of 3 wagons which would be active through the rest of the day. Damo then makes it a 1 vote lead for Bob. Rivera casts his first vote and we see a 3-3 tie of Bob and Ghug. Bob and Ghug McKenzie. Koo Koo Koo Koo Koo Koo Kooja! Take off to the Great White North!

First gut is that at this point these votes are tests to float how things might go towards the very end of the day. See what sticks, perhaps bus just to see how to move towards the end? In this case we know that Damo and Darg are NOT bussing Bob, so was the move to Bob by Darg one to preserve Snowy? edit/add on to my original thought: We know that THIS is NOT the case.

B) The next phase spans 4 minutes.
Food makes a move to Ghug from Rivera. On its face, a decent move since Rivera was solely vanity wagon at this point. This pushes ghug to the lead. Is this Food bussing Ghug?
The next vote sees JBH moving onto a vanity (me). Why not put the vote on a contending wagon? Appearing indifferent and noncommittal isn’t helpful. No one wants to be on the wrong side of a daykill but we need what information we can get. This suggests to me that JBH didn’t want to be connected to any mafia partner that might have been on ghug or Bob. Or JBH was not willing to leave a vote on a partner. I’ll spend some time sussing this out under the assumption that JBH is mafia.

Snowy then moves to Darg. Vanity. That made 2 votes for Darg and I think it was highly doubtful that this wagon would take off. Requires a read-around of Darg through this time period. Moot since we now know Darg was town

C) Food moves from Ghug to Snowy. Where Food made ghug a lead in the previous section, they then commit to flattening the ghug and bob wagons. Is this mafia!Food bussing mafia!snowy? Or mafia!Food protecting mafia!ghug?

Then JBH switches vote from vanity (HB) to snowy to create the 3W tie. Manages to flatten the wagons. We know JBH is protecting Bob (edit: not really sure what I meant by this when I wrote it earlier; need to re-think it., but is mafia!JBH protecting mafia!ghug or bussing mafia!snowy.

I know there’s a lot of supposition in that. This assumes that JBH is mafia and one of ghug or snowy are mafia. But with 45 minutes remaining in the day, there’s no need to be worried, as mafia, since votes could travel around to effect the outcome.

D) FInal section. Over a 3 minute period we only have 4 votes cast.
Food seems to have been a pretty active voter over these 4 sections, voting 3 times. They move to Bob, from Snowy, and this puts Bob in the lead and never looks back. Ghug is not yet safe since there is time to throw another couple of votes there. Same could be said for Snowy.
Snowy then casts a misvote for JBH, but it is still registered to Darg. Changes no lead wagons. Was this an intentional misvote? And why on JBH? Then with 2 minutes remaining, Snowy votes for Bob, kind of ensuring there will be no massive movement. And then in the “What did you do that for” category, Bozo comes in for the final vote to pull a vote from Snowy and make it 6 votes to kill Bob.

Damo at the 0:03 mark suggests someone move to Bob to make tying more difficult. Was this good town play or mafia ensuring the miskill goes through?

E) With that two minutes to go, mafia seemed content with what the votes were so no need to rush off a wagon. They know that a town is most likely going to get killed. In good faith I will also admit that I was looking to make a move off of ghug to bob to do the good town thing of ensuring no tie. I even posted as such, but by the time I looked at the bot the majority was in for Bob. Just full disclosure.

5 minutes, potential sign of Food protecting Snowy teammate? 2 minutes, Bob is made clear kill. Is this Snowy protecting Ghug teammate from possible 4/4 split? Why did Bozo feel need to stamp the Bob vote? Does the “objection” snowy refers to on their vote feel off? What’s the value of noting such an objection? “I decline to move to Bob or Ghug on account of townreading them.” Then why not leave the vote on JBH or Darg? Rationalizes it with “avoid quick draws.”

Moving to ensure no tie is a substantial town move since it provides information, but questions need to be asked about the “why” of who they moved off of. Ghug and/or Snowy were saved?

Was ghug trying to out the jester? Claiming role then retracting is imminently not good for town. Creates hot air and reduces time on task.

F) Snowy made the point that Rivera mentioned something about Bob being saved. What I found instead was where they said Bob is an easy wagon to push since they admitted they’d be away. Is this Rivera suggesting displeasure with the wagon? I’d offer town points to Rivera for that sentiment.

It was actually the interaction between Damo and Rivera that Snowy is referencing. Rivera did vote ghug because of townreading Bob (which we know he was right about) and Snowy (still the unknown).

Damo said they were reading Bob as mafia, and wanted to get people off of Snowy. Why? Paraphrasing but “I am willing to vote Bob once he has 2 votes.” How much pushing of the Bob wagon is this? This was while voting Darg. This was also said with about 4 hours remaining. If this was a push, it certainly took its time.

The mentions Damo has for Snowy is weird to me. There’s something in there that is filling me with unease and I can’t put my finger on it.

Mafia pool: ghug, food, snowy, JBH (didn’t like the votes, etc)
Town: Chaqa, Rivera, Bozo, Darg (on account of agreeing that hitting jester is best)

Personally, I wouldn't mind offering up ghug. The claim/retraction business...not a fan of it. Maybe there was no counterclaim because the real jester wants to lay low. Fair point. But maybe ghug is jester, and in that case, the D1 kill would have been best. But maybe ghug is mafia, and it would have been good to have that early lead going into N1.

From the last game I learned that townies often vote townies out. We sure did, over and over.

Can we take anything from this vote? I would think that mafia, seeing that we were executing one of our own, would vote elsewhere...

I'm town and darg is town, so the vote is entirely meaningless unless snowy is scum.
