Mafia XXXIV Game Thread - Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

This is my first mafia game, but I’ve played a bunch of mafia-like games, but that means some of the roles and mechanics are new to me, like items etc. I wasn’t sure if guns would become available during the night or something, but of course all adjudication is done at the end of the night, I just wasn’t thinking.

Having read other peoples thoughts I now agree that giving out a gun on the first night seems like the best idea. I can’t say yet whom I’d shoot, but I’ll give my thoughts before the end of the day.

Question, what do people mean when they talk about PR? And what is this “dilly dilly” business about?

First, I want town to have guns to shoot with in the endgame, when we actually know things, instead of in the early game when we are just guessing and when the shots never shoot anyone but town.

Brainbomb, you said you wanted to shoot newbies... this is unusual for you.

Welcome MeanLaQueefa, SuperSteve and rjmcf. If you're a town PR do not disclose your role until you are 100% certain it will help town, and then think carefully about it. We seem to be cursed by people panicking and declaring too early. Stay hidden as long as you can. Please get involved, ask if you need any assistance.

@brainbomb - I'd shoot you in a heartbeat. Copying other's posts and adding one or two words is not helping town in anyway shape or form. Stop it now.

So let's see, what has happened so far? Not much of a jokeposting phase, probably because Ghug is not here.

Then we have Brainbomb, claiming PR, and then clogging up the thread with useless cut-and-paste re-postings of other people's comments without adding anything to them. Brainbomb, your own posts are annoying enough, please don't spam the thread with content-free cut-and-pastes, it's pointless and shit.

Maniac, I notice you are voting for an un-CC'ed PR claimant. You must be very sure that Brainbomb's claim is false. How could you have arrived at this conclusion?

Okay this is good. My expecting to get shot is because the runaway trend is everyone listing me. So even if I townread these people I bite the bullet giving them my guns.

The in-joke is new by me. Im just barking at things I find disconcertingly scummy and dilly dillying at things I find pro-towny.

I find some of the posts NAI so far, ND hasnt stood out alot. I think ezio, tom and rhk are all town.

I liked some posts by rivera, supersteve was nai, and dargorygel feels odd.

I will assume brainbomb is not really the gunsmith unless he gives a good reason for claiming it. I just want to point out to the new and almost new players that brainbomb is known for fake PR claims, so there is no reason to counterclaim gunsmith.
