To be explain this even better:

If I was scum and damo was town, I would've never left it to chance to have damo scan or track, regardless of the odds of success for damo. It wouldn't be worth the risk when you can 100% ensure he doesn't scan or track and can still waste a heal.

He would've been jailed and the same level of suspicion would exist by other players on if he was telling the truth or not or is scum.

This is the most important post of D2. With damo not being jailed this means the scum never even asked or considered the possibility of jailing still eating the action, because they weren't sorried about it, BUCAUSE THERE WAS NO ACTION FOR DAMO TO TAKE

I was thinking about the jailing. At first there was no reason to disbelieve him (I know I wasn't jailed and I assume any other jailee would cc) but it makes perfect sense for scum to hold the jailing and then one of them claim to be jailed [goon maybe rather than jailer but no matter]. This coupled with worcej's hard push on me, an un-cc'd PR, also wanting me to prematurely reveal my N1 result is very untownlike. Now worcej is usually very townlike to the point of obvtowning. He is off kilter and I think he is scum getting a bit carried away with his plan.

Two things about this train of thought:

If you are the JOAT and scum believe that, why would they jail someone pushing you? The only reason that target makes sense to jail is if they are PR hunting with it.

Most of all, if you are JOAT and scum is banking on baiting your heal, there is NO reason to holster the jailing. They are at what, ~20% of blinding hitting a PR there by their estimation?

There are basically 3 options:

i) Jail me
ii) Jail a PR read
iii) hold the jail to fake claim a jailing for towncred and the chance to run deep

i) didn't happen

ii) and iii) are mutually exclusive

If you're town, the effectiveness of the options are below:

i) 100% effective if you're town - it prevents any action you submitted and you use it up right away. However, if you're actually scum, it's 0% effective from the team's standpoint (though it would've moved me off lasering in on you)
ii) Possible 3/13 targets to hit. Let's assume scum immediately thought HR was the cop because of his belief you're scum, that makes it 2/12 to hit the real JOAT or Poisoner (the two they'd hunt), this makes it 16.67% chance of success
iii) Let's assume 50% success here - it's WIFOM creation and it's 2 choices, so this is kinda arbitrary.

I think it becomes pretty damn clear which option makes the most sense to a scum team if you're actually town...

Well, the overwhelming majority of you seen to have decided that I'm scum for daring to go against the grain. Knowing that's not true makes me question how much can accurately be drawn from the rest of it.

The only person who's moved themselves significantly towards town for me today is worcej.
