I think the lack of claim of being poisoned means either HR held, or he did indeed strike scum. Fingers crossed.Perplexity wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:23 pmthey should be open, whoever received a notif that they will be eliminated thanks to our PR, should confess and not keep this secret

I feel like I missed something in the rules that said the poisoner's target learns that they were poisoned

Also if damo is actually JOAT then he may have saved himself to protect against HR's poison
Re: MAFIA 67 OFFICIAL GAME THREAD —//—//— CURSE OF THE AZURE BONDS [hidden]
He started the Chaqa wagon presumably knowing I was willing to YOLO join. He's returned to talking more, but he's not saying anything useful. Nobody seems interested in killing Perp, and I (shockingly) don't like the other two wagons, so I'm trying something new.

It may only be sudden to you because of the time space between my posting, but in general I have not liked your D2 and I am looking back on your N1 posts to setup pushing targets that started wagons, which include people who shaded damo. It seems opportunistic and an intentional setup to drive votes.ghug wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:10 pmIt's not clear to me why you've so quickly flipped your opinion on me.
You seem to be blowing up one comment about information that you took to mean backwards looking (yes, there's information about D1 that we learn with damo's alignment, but we're guaranteed to get that information soon anyway) when it was meant forward-looking (i.e. today's VCA will become people who have a general opposition to killing un-CCed PRs vs. people who don't). It was also not my main argument against killing damo, and doesn't seem to warrant that drastic of a turn on its own.
You've effectively said flipping damo is bad information, when it's actually great information under the context of our typical scum meta, which is the most dependable meta we have here. Scum do not take unnecessary risks and letting the JOAT possibly execute one of their abilities is a huge risk, considering they are tracking and a motion detector (kinda like watching). Even under the guise of 'sowing confusion', it would be ridiculous to assume scum would take this risk on N1 when they are already disadvantaged with their 4th player being on an island and they cannot coordinate with them.
In general, you're trying to distract/refute content others are pushing forward instead of actually hunting. You're putting more effort into attacking my WIFOM with logic while selectively ignoring other obvious logic that blows your argument up.

FWIW - your use of links to the pre-game thread are not a good tool for presenting information and you're bound to get direct questions because of it.brainbomb wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:27 pmThis is covered in system messages link on page 1.President Eden wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:25 pmAlso if damo is actually JOAT then he may have saved himself to protect against HR's poison

You'd know already if it was you.
I know ir's not me.
I would hope the expected party puts out their final thoughts in some cohesive manner...and if they're town, work with it. If they're mafia, work with that too.
But we don't even know if HR tried to poison anyone.
Re: MAFIA 67 OFFICIAL GAME THREAD —//—//— CURSE OF THE AZURE BONDS [hidden]
Because you might be dragonbait. Thought that was obvious. The list of people that I suggest are the only votable people are those that are definitely not dragonbait.

In an effort to reduce inserting myself into the game unnecessarily I will take this criticism and refer you to page 1 for any additional questions you have about roles, messages, and interactions. for complaints about setup, format or GM execution feel free to PM me and I will offer kind words and effortful reconciliation.worcej wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:31 pmFWIW - your use of links to the pre-game thread are not a good tool for presenting information and you're bound to get direct questions because of it.brainbomb wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:27 pmThis is covered in system messages link on page 1.President Eden wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:25 pmAlso if damo is actually JOAT then he may have saved himself to protect against HR's poison

I will reveal just before EON. Not before for obvious reasons.worcej wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 3:52 pmWhat ability did you use and why?damo666 wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 9:23 amPresumably that together with killing HR is meant to confuse and they hope people will be daft enough to mk me.Perplexity wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 11:20 pma supposed 'PR' revealed EOD and scum uses their ability on worcej?
Re: MAFIA 67 OFFICIAL GAME THREAD —//—//— CURSE OF THE AZURE BONDS [hidden]
How can you simultaneously claim I'm setting up wagons and that I'm not actively hunting? I'm spending more effort on developing townreads than scumreads, because that's what I always do, which I can see giving the impression of not hunting, but I'm not sure how you conclude that I spent the night trying to set up specific wagons when the only person I've actively pushed until 20 minutes ago is perp.worcej wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 4:30 pmIt may only be sudden to you because of the time space between my posting, but in general I have not liked your D2 and I am looking back on your N1 posts to setup pushing targets that started wagons, which include people who shaded damo. I don't really understand what point you're making about information. Again, it's not the primary reason I don't want to kill damo, and again, all I'm saying is that killing him means we don't get a normal EoD to analyze.
What logic am I ignoring that blows my arguments up?

I think we can be fairly confident that damo is town, and this is before the suggestion of claiming something EON.
I'd say gimix is very town. They've got that new car interior smell.
I think worcej is as well, especially through today's comments. By association I'd link President Eden to them as well.
I disagree with them about the Damo flip. I think there's a pretty strong reason that Damo is town. As incomprehensible as it might be, ghug may have helped save Damo by sacrificing Chaqa who would have been an unknown anyway.
