Assuming damo is the JOAT, I notice that worcej and Hamilton moved to tie damo's wagon up with Perplexity's at 4. I also notice damo didn't mind moving from Perp to Chaqa at this point, putting his own wagon in the lead.

After about this point, it becomes Chaqa versus damo, and presumably a lot of the shuffling is town. However, both worcej and Hamilton moved during this shuffling period... but, I would expect that if they are scum and had generated the damo wagon, and wanted to continue to be in the mix as things heated up.

My counter to this, though, is my vote was made with 25 to go. Worcej was a late mover. I was on damo when they were a more likely wagon. Ghug then makes the Damo/Chaqa votes a tie at 4. Again, makes me look bad but I moved to Chaqa after ghug (and in no way does this indicate a sheeping; anyone could have made the same choice and I would have moved to Chaqa to presumably break a tie).

I really don't read worcej as scum; null to light town, and I think their reaction to the claim was a genuine reaction.

About damo's claim.

Even though the is no CC, there is a distinct possibility that he is lying, but I do not say we push it.

I believe that if someone claims your role, but you townread them, you should not CC as they are no protecting your role from mafia NKs.

I personally Town Damo, so even if I was the JOAT, I would not call him out, I would let him bait the NK.

If it goes on for a while, I expect the real JOAT to claim eventually. But for now, this is y rationale.



Given the way I treated dargo's claim last game, I do not expect this post to be taken well. I would however like to add that even as mafia, I genuinely did not believe dargo for a while.

I think if he's lying, he's scum and should be killed. There are ways to claim a role to protect someone, and on the block to save yourself isn't one of them.

That said, the whole "get off me, you're making a huge mistake" that Jamie does is something I think is more likely to come from town, so I buy the claim, and if he is lying, we'll find out eventually, so there's no reason to kill him without a counterclaim.

I have to agree with Ghug here. Damo´s claim is either town PR that don´t want to die or Mafia that also don´t want to die and want to get a cc. Either way, it will be sorted sooner or later and if he is lying the real PR should not claim unless needed as there is no Janitor power as far as I remember.

If Damo is town, VCA isn´t really usefull as it will be town x town. If Perp is scum we can look at who started Damo´s wagon, but if Perp is town then scum where probably just spread around. If Damos is lying then the Chaqa voters should be looked carefully, specially the first one´s (Demon, Ghug and HB).

I am not. Given my notes yesterday, I was leaning town because I felt like they were a new player. Scrambling, latching on to someone's idea. Buddying. I am not as high on them as town now as then.
