Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
Thanks for letting me "co-GM" HR. I didn't do much but I think I have a better idea of how to run a few things.
This game was a pain to watch, because it felt (at least partially with the benefit of omnipotence) that the scumteam was playing pretty bad in multiple situations. But town's ability to actually vote them out was legitimately awful. Celaph and Macca both should've died, and then kgray for celaph interactions. I have no clue how well I would've done as town actually playing, but I can be pretty sure nobody would've listened if I was right.
Also Jamie, shut your mouth. You played awfully too.

Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
no scum won because they (chaqa and kgray) dominated the thread and led the discussions at will with little resistance; which allowed them to keep two serial lurker scum from ever getting picked off.
RHK was almost an aberration.

You often do this as well, Jamie.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 10:46 pmI still have no idea why you completely lost your mind just because four people voted for you.dargorygel wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 10:06 pmMy panic started us downhill. Really weird.
Try to calm down in future.

Please, analyse my faults. And your own.foodcoats wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 10:47 pmYou sucked, too, Jamie.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 10:45 pmYou sucked, and were as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle.Fluminator wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 9:51 pmLove that when you all are killing me right after I replace and before I can do anything, I yell that you need to kill Chaqa/Kgray/Celaph.
And then no one paid any heed lol.
For the people saying it was bad I self voted, I had a PR read on Maniac (I sent a message to the godthread) so I knew it was better I died before him. Then you assholes killed Maniac next anyway. lol
Thanks for subbing in, all the same.
You sucked, too.

"Often"?
Provide 3 or more examples of games in which I was a town PR who claimed my role when under minimal pressure.
That's absolutely not something I "often" do, you're wrong.

Excellent Game HR. Loved it!
I forgot to go invisible last night, so I appeared breifly as I rushed to turn it off. I watched the thread through the bot, and prepared my vote to drop at 10 seconds left.
I know I'm "never on for EOD", but I have once before. While Scum at milo. But the only person I assume to be able to remember that was my two time scum buddy kgray.
I don't like this assertion that "both teams were bad", it's a directly competing game, you play with what you have.
All in all, I had a hoot. Thanks darg for making me play!

I would not say Kgray led any discussions, far from it. Kgray was much less assertive and active and questioning than normal.
That's Kgray's scumtell, apparently, and we should take note.

This is not the sort of thing a GM should say.

Doesn't seem like you provided HR with much support.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I also take credit for playing awfully. That last thing about double kill was unnecessary risk. We would have killed a scum anyway if I didn't suggest that. I also repeatedly said that they aren't both scum. Even if our plan worked, it wouldn't be any better than just killing Macca.

How is that related to Jamie's question? If you think I'm putting on theater with someone then that's one thing, but this is just irrelevant fearmongering.worcej wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 11:13 amThere is proof that these two are great at scum theater in the last game I ran.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 11:06 am@Ghug: Could you tell us more about why you scumread Kgray and Chaqa?
I remember thinking they did a smashing job.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
You don't claim. You heavily intonate. Off the top of my head, I can think of the last time kgray and Chaqa won as scum, and the game before this one.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 11:28 pmIncorrect.ghug wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 11:26 pmYou often do this as well, Jamie.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 10:46 pm

This is why we should never only rely on VCA...

It's pretty clear a majority of you actively hate me, hold me deeply in contempt, or think I'm a joke. If the general view of the community is that my presence here is either harmful, or pitiful, or contemptible, then I think I know what I need to do.
It's a shame that it's come to this but my presence here is apparently no longer welcome. I'll comment further tomorrow after I've had some sleep.

I've enjoyed playing Mafia here even if my deductive skills weren't great. I hope as a GM I've provided some fun setups for you even if they weren't perfect.

I think you'll have to ask someone else.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I wouldn't say any of what you listed is true. You, like myself, are abrasive and are passionate. We both just have to be more respectful.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed May 05, 2021 11:43 pmIt's pretty clear a majority of you actively hate me, hold me deeply in contempt, or think I'm a joke. In regards to this game: You had a bad game and are a large part of why town lost here. It happens to all of us, so don't take it with as much salt as you are. Just try to be better.
