As the roar of Typhon's march reaches the outskirts of the city, the last assault of the army of Kronos begins. The thinned ranks of the campers find no aid from the Underworld, no aid from Poseidon, and the Gods themselves are spent. Kronos's allies have only grown larger, and with one final roar, he now burns away the body of Luke Castellan and is finally able to assume his true godly form. In hand to hand combat with Percy Jackson, Kronos is now able to defeat and slay Percy, and open the path to Olympus.

As the campers are smashed beneath, Kronos marches into Olympus and begins destroying the thrones of the Olympians, who are immediately crushed by Typhon and scattered into oblivion. There is no escape for the campers, who are rounded up and slaughtered by Hyperion, Prometheus, and the other Titans - Restored to their full power.

The age of Olympus and the age of man has ended. A new dark age is upon the world. The Titans have won.

SO BASICALLY what happened was... we fucked up on Day 1 and it accidentally worked out. And then we just kept getting lucky
