Scum have no day chat so multiple (3+) bussing seems highly unlikely.
Therefore we can assume AT LEAST 2 scum in
Jamie Macca Yav rdr
Voting outside this pool tomorrow would be suboptimal (44% v >= 50%).
People advocating voting outside this group should be viewed with great suspicion.

There’s still an outside chance Damo or Jamie could be scum.
Food, celaph, kgray, or I (or some combo) could be bussers.
In fact I’m feeling there has to be, because I’ve gotten such strong town vibes from Bona.
Macca first then we can evaluate

Re: bona
I think his explanation sounds like Bryan in "life of Bryan." He's making it up as he goes along.
I also still think he would bus on his own outlandishly on d1. So for me, he remains in the pool damo suggests.

This post on D1 is very interesting in Bona's iso because he never puts in this much effort anywhere else to scum or town read anyone else (as in, he never anywhere else takes multiple quotes from other players and uses them to make a read), ever again in this game.
Where it gets really problematic is D2. On D2, bona starts in on scumreading kgray and celaph because kgray townreads celaph.
If you are town, and two people you townread, townread each other... do you conclude they are scum? No. That's absurd. On D2, when this happens, you start to feel okay and good that you have a town bloc and you can look elsewhere.
So why did bona, who so strongly townread celaph and kgray on D1 - vastly more strongly than anyone else - use kgray's townread of his other townread to justify that they are scum together?
I believe that what happened here is that one of kgray or celaph is scum. bona spent considerable effort (compared to the rest of his iso) townreading them D1, and on D2, for whatever reason, he thinks he needs to push that they are scum and create distance.
I think we need to flip bona tomorrow because we can get really good info from this. Bona put a lot of effort into townreading two people, and then lazily scumread them.
We also know he and Macca aggressively defended each others' right to lurk.
So rich in value here.
So, the above is fine in and of itself... except that the approach is something bona never replicates. He never again takes such an analytical stance towards anyone's iso.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 4:00 amCelaph:Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 3:46 amWell for starters you all agree that the votes on me were dumb lol. kgray:ghug:on reread ghug does a fair amount of echoing kgray (especially pretty recently) I'm not as sure about him anymore, but still townlean him.

That's just one quote, and in and of itself seems like a joke, but bona repeatedly repeats that they are scum and asserts he really believes they are scum together.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 8:41 pmkgray and celaph scumteam confirmedkgray wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 8:19 pmMost of it is he just feels normal to me. I also think his vote for Demon looks good, since he joined me on that wagon when it was picking up steam and made it viable.

damo, with all due respect, there is only one number that matters now:damo666 wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 2:29 pmScum have no day chat so multiple (3+) bussing seems highly unlikely.

1.
1 miskill.
Stop thinking of this in mathematical probabilities. We have to get it absolutely correct, 4 times in a row. So you need to read the game and offer scumreads, not probabilities.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I think it is massively better to flip bona because we get so much information from it.
Macca is likely scum, too, but we don't get nearly as much value flipping Macca now. Macca will be flipped eventually so we want Macca to say more things before they go.

I agree. This misunderstands my post. I switched to scumreading them because kgray's post felt unnatural and scummy. I then thought, why would scum!kgray make this weird post about town!celaph? I don't see a reason for her to do so in such an odd way, so therefore it must be scum!kgray townreading scum!celaph.Where it gets really problematic is D2. On D2, bona starts in on scumreading kgray and celaph because kgray townreads celaph.

What event (or events) on day 2 prompt my sudden distancing? If I was scum, this appears that I was panicking and needed to change reads sudddenly. What prompts scum!bona to do this? Why is my current reasoning not acceptable?I believe that what happened here is that one of kgray or celaph is scum. bona spent considerable effort (compared to the rest of his iso) townreading them D1, and on D2, for whatever reason, he thinks he needs to push that they are scum and create distance.

What is my scum motivation for making this claim and refusing to back down on it? You haven't shown this.foodcoats wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 12:17 pm<big snip>
So, why do I say you "flubbed" your case? I say that because Jamie and damo forced your hand to reply to a question you were avoiding, and you answered too quickly without looking back at what you had said and done - thus creating inconsistencies. You also answered in a totally untownie way; Jamie asked, "Can you please explain your view on darg. With a sensible explanation you can become strongtown;" and the ONLY thing you replied was that you were trying to draw the NK. If you were actually town, you would've seen what Jamie was actually asking and explain "At the end of N3, such-and-such evidence convinced me." Instead, you got defensive and came up with a bad answer that contradicts your ISO.
@Macca @celaph @rdr @yavu
Please tell us what you think of my case.
Let's not forget this is coming from the guy who, upon me questioning him, had the sole defense of asking if I was autistic.

"Wow he's scum he voted a person over his scumreads." Did you miss the part where I scumread Demon? Apparently not, since you mention that too. What is scum about voting a scumread?foodcoats wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 12:49 pmI'm actually going to restate that last huge post much more simply:
D1, Bona:
1. Scumreads brain for arguing that Macca's opening posts are alignment-indicative;
2. Scumreads darg for claiming cop the way he did;
3. Scumreads Kak for potentially bussing scum!darg;
4. Scumreads Demon for being "incompetent" and "subpar;"
5. Votes for Demon when Kak or brain were also viable wagons.
Is this townie wording, logic and play?
I do not think so.
I was right too - he was playing subpar and incompetently, as town and as scum.

@food
Notwithstanding your read if you are town and there was only 1 busser Bona is a 3-1 chance as opposed to the nonDemon 4 any one of which is an even money chance.

In fact unless we think Maniac was unlucky enough to block 3 town in a row we should confine ourselves to
Jamie Chaqa rdr
Given we know Jamie is not Janitor and Chaqa voted Demon the optimal vote tomorrow is rdr.
Yep, vote rdr tomorrow.

My only contenders for bussing are food and Chaqa
