anyway, ghug, kgra, brain, chaqa, flood, what do you think of flum's thoughts in the "celaph wasn't defended" post I made?

Flum is talking about Day 1, you’re talking about Day 2
When celaph was a part of the RHK flip
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
That's not correct. I firstly scumread Maniac, then I said I still find his vote so scummy that he may not be scum. But I kept him on my scumread list and as well as keeping my vote on him. That's clearly a misinterpretation of my post. Sorry if it was my fault to express it badly.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
but why would he need defending when he's only been voted by 2 in the joke phase?
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
The item could be crystal as well as holstered gun. I doubt there's no item. I have hardclaimed no item and you are hinting you haven't either.ghug wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 6:12 pmIf there's no item, though, it casts doubt on those roleblocked.
It makes me slightly more inclined to believe you're both town, though obviously the town RB could have hit scum.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I think that Flum meant celaph's vote for Demon D1 makes him look really good. I agree with that, it was a decisive vote. Brain is making the case that celaph felt pressured into bussing Demon, although I didn't get that feeling as it was happening.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 6:24 pmI'm a bit confused here. Do you mean game D1? But celaph only got voted by bona and (shortly) foods (who voted bona afterwards) in the first part.Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 5:43 pmVCA from day 1 with no context looks really really good for Celaph yesterday. I think he'd have more defenders if he was scum.
probably it's the first half of D2 then. That was however when people believed "vote for who you want to get shot" and cel only got to 3 votes 2 hours and 20 minutes before 'perceived EoD' or 'ToS'
he only picked up steam afterwards from the vote count on D2, even lost one vote then getting back to three by dargo. Then getting to 4, he lost votes and suddenly maniac was leading at 24 hours, which was the time the shot was about to happen (at least in some minds). And Maniac has been lead until 11 hours, then the ties happened.
so no, I don't get the impression with "looks really really good for Celaph", it more looks like he was defended and maniac was put on the block. I'm not saying that is true, but it was bona who put maniac to 3 (from cel to make a tie with cel), then Jamiet (4), then Chaqa (5). Damo putting him to 6 at 22 hours to go doesn't count for the 'shot' since that was after my reveal.
so if anything, celaph was defended by bona, jamiet and chaqa (don't know why, just with the vote count)
And I think Flum just means that today celaph would have more defenders if he were scum. I'm pretty much the only person defending him, so I agree with Flum's point here. My biggest scumreads aren't on celaph so I don't think scum are pushing him as a miskill, but it seems likely to me they're letting town kill off a townie.
Your D2 analysis is pretty sound, though. I think townies get "saved" on accident all the time, but if celaph does end up being scum then those are good places to start looking. It's also possible that scum knew you didn't have a gun, and the gun deadline vote didn't matter to them.

Explain why you see the Damo part as hedging. I had posted my thoughts about him in a response to Kak earlier that night and didn't want to just copy and paste everything here.brainbomb wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:52 pmfor every reason you gave to scumread these people
Scum lean:
HB — He’s been more aggressive than I expected particularly with rdr. I’ve found their interactions as a whole off-putting, but of the two I prefer rdr at the moment. His comment on demon near EoD1 didn’t really push him and he ended up on brain.
Maniac -- I see why Maniac is scummy, but it feels like this wagon is motived equally by Maniac’s inactivity. Not a sexy wagon by any stretch of the imagination.
Damo — I posted more in depth about Damo and my concerns with him earlier.
you excused them as well
this is hedging
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I like rdr more as in I like rdr's play more so far and therefore he's more likely town.brainbomb wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:53 pmwhy is HB a scumlean if you prefer rdriv at the moment, and riv isnt even in your scumleans.
It just looks very much like you dont have actual reasons for your scumreads and you dont wanna upset the people you listed as scum so youve excused them all or told us to go find why. which you used to give us linky links too

@Jamie (and others who asked) I have had my suspicious about you for a while.
Pg 23 Jamie said "This post is great. Maniac is town for sure." OK maybe sarcasm
Pg24 Jamie said "Why is Maniac the lead wagon?" Clear sign he didn't scum read me.
Pg 37 Jamie said (to worceJ) "Do you agree with Maniac's case on me?"
Now this made me think prior to page 37 my only 'case' on Jamie was on Pg 2 still in the joke phase when I said "[][]vote Jamie - because I know it annoys him."
So why Jamie did you think I had a case on you?
pg 37 Jamie then said "I'm going to [][]Vote Maniac", "I think Maniac is a solid wagon at this point in time."
Pg 43 Jamie said "I am now happy to leave my vote on Maniac because:
1. He is being lazy,
2. and insincere,
c). his defence of Foodcoats is bizarre since simultaneously super emphatic yet also super vacuous,
4. if he remains the top wagon and is town, this will compel him to try."
Whilst Jamie was on close to EOD he didn't opt for one of the top wagons.
So, in summary, Jamie didn't suspect me at all and couldn't understand why I was a wagon. Then without me saying anything else I'm his strongest scum read who he refuses to move off even though my wagon didn't have traction.
This is why I suspect you Jamie.

Which two? Have I been thinking your name wrong?

Say more about why you feel that Chaqa and kgray shouldn't be next to each other.brainbomb wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:56 pmyour townreads are also fraudulent. There are names in your townreads that feel totally out of place. chaqa next to kgray.
you have kak at the top and applaud him for playing a perfect scum game. I dont think id list my top townread as someone who could be bamboozling me
I have kak at the top because I feel like if he is scum at the moment, he's playing very naturally leaving me believing that he is town.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
Well I'm happy for you, but the flow of opening a bunch of new tabs is cumbersome, and I'd much prefer to see everything in the thread.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
Okay, @kgray can't get over with me scumreading rivera while I refused to vote for RHK. Let me explain:
I didn't scumread RHK more than Hamilton, and I wasn't online during the EoD so I didn't pick between active wagons. I can't scumread myself, but I admit that Hamilton wagon looks sus. I still scumread Hamilton for the same reasons though. Rivera seems more suspicious than me because he voted for HB when RHK was the top wagon. This seems like creating a counter wagon to prevent RHK being voted out.

Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
If I vote for one of two leading wagons, I will vote for rivera. Seeing their last votes in D1, one of them is very likely to be scum.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
Very sorry, I meant one of Rivera and Maniac
