There's this variant I was discussing with.... somebody, where you're only allowed to vote once per day, and you're not allowed to move your vote once you've cast it. That would certainly be an interesting change.

I was planning a custom PR that could secretly enable this mode once/game and the day would automatically end when everyone voted.

I am glad there was no gun. The chances of two town deaths today would be far far worse than anything we could do to screw up what is a highly competitive game already. We dont need to fuck ourselves over early

Worcej stands out to me due to some brushing off of commenter's concerns, jumping on, if not creating (don't recall), a wagon of me and never moving off of it, and just a general cheese factor.

Also, there's this sense that they are creating the argument to justify Vecna's NK, based on "quality of the scum players." Again, just seems like an arbitrary approach and a holding-hands-up "look gang, it wasn't me involved." And the fake-iness of the entry into D2.

A few things:

I started to think again about Maniac's vote yesterday and it was indeed very scummy. But would a mafia member risk being exposed? It's so scummy that it feels something a scum wouldn't do. A wagon that large makes me worry. I can go with rivera. I know it's still early and things can change. Let's try rivera as well.

I don't know if dargo is actually cop or a town who periodically claims to confuse scum but it's even better to keep this uncertain. I'm sure that scum is very confused at the moment.

I talked to HR about a replacement. Pardon my absence but I probably got some popular virus. I will stay in the game until HR replaces me though.

I kinda agree with you on worcej, but I'm not sure exactly what play from him I'd actually like. He definitely coasted without much interesting activity last game.

I don't think Hamilton would be nonchalant about anything as scum. It's possible he knows kak doesn't have a gun though, I guess.

Damo seems off with his involvement today. I’d have expected more involvement around the gun, but I see more effort directed at darg.

If scum RBed Vecna, I think Damo and Maniac (lack of) reactions could be scum knowing there is no gun.

With the Inventor flip, why in god's name would scum!Kak even reveal he had a gun? He would just pop someone ASAP and we'd have no clue who did it.

This phase is literally dominated by mechanics and it won’t go away until they are dealt with.

@Kak - fire the gun. Do it at me for all I care if it will make town actually try. These damn ‘hey everyone I got a gun, let me dominate the narrative of the game’ plays are dumb. Your scum points are rather high if you ask me.

HB is just being bad. He is using OMGUS as a method to participate, which I personally think is him cloaking the fact he is meh scum.

Humor me - what do you think your play accomplished?

making people react to the situation. getting to know some people better how they behaved. increasing town information. getting better reads for some people. references for days to come after more flips. making use of a bad situation (PR nk'd). and I had some strange kind of fun doing it.
