I cannot deal with another game where I get scumread for leaving a scum wagon after I made it viable in the first place. I just can't.

Are you talking your making the wagon viable by getting it to the 3rd vote, and then it progressed? As I reread I feel like you got on the wagon, but not too convinced by it.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. I wasn't "too convinced" no, but I noticed enough differences from his town game that I thought it was worth pushing. I never felt like I "caught" him, but you can't pretend I didn't help make him an option.

Ooh, sassy. This isn't the first time this game, either. It's not what I expect from Hamilton, but I've incorrectly scumread him for being confident in the past so maybe this is similar.

Bona - timing of his Demon vote looks very towny unless Kak Ham and Brain are all scum the likelihood of which is negligicelpble so I am going to simply assume Bona is town.

Brain - sounds towny but his Kakvote looks a possible demonsave. I'll sit on the fence for the timebeing.

celaph - can't remember anything of note but his Demon vote looks solid enough. Townlean.

Chaqa - probtown but does like a bus so townlean with caution.

damo - from an outsider's pov pretty nullish I would say.

darg - assume cop for now but if he survives N1 suspicions will grow. As has already been said if there is another cop out there stay quiet.

Saying people are conf!town when they're really not is an active detriment to town. Please try to switch to townread or townlean. Overuse of conf!town gives scum cover.

So in one of Demon's posts, they suggested their scumreads were Bona, Damo, RDR and townreads were brain, vecna, chaqa.

Simple scum ploy would be to alternate their reads with their teammates, right?

Does this somewhat clear Bona, Damo, and RDR?

Does it make more sus Brain, Vecna, and Chaqa?

Or is it simple enough to avoid mentioning their four other teammates at all?

I am feeling more town on brain. A little more sus on Vecna (really wanted to get people off of foodcoats) and still sus of Chaqa. But a big part of me makes me think they avoided mentioning their other 4 teammates.

I don't think there's any reliable standard for how scum would separate their teammates. It's probably usually some sort of mix and it's almost certainly not just townreading all their teammates.

What about Vecna wanting people off of food was suspicious? How was that more suspicious than brain or ghug also discouraging food's wagon?

Looking at the votes, kgray moved off of darg at 4, bringing Demon’s wagon up and tying 3 wagons at 3. I struggle to imagine that happening in any combination where kgray is also scum. So kgray looks town from that vote move... If she was just reacting to darg’s claim and she was scum she could have voted me or some other scum read (I don’t know exactly what they were at the time).

So kgray is town.

You are included in a bunch of regular players I am reluctant to vote for day 1 unless there is a strong indicator. As you know day 1 is largely guesswork.

regarding yav I haven't had much time and what I've read looked okish, since I have nothing to do with coding I didn't get some of his early posts. He was voting hamilton at the end of D1 so that gives me a good tick for him (at least if my feeling that hamilton is bad is correct)

It's odd that you're giving yav townpoints for voting on the counterwagon to scum based on your read of that wagon... And even if Hamilton is also scum, why does yav get townpoints for not being on Demon?

I also found ghug's move to brain odd when I was looking at the vote record, but... ghug was calling brain scummy a lot all day long, and he even reinforced that he wasn't joking about that read when I called out and asked him if he really thought his scum reads were scummy. So if nothing else ghug reinforced that he legitimately thought brain was scum.

Sure but he didn't do much to pressure brain at all. Or any of his scumreads, actually, he just threw around some vague shade. When he finally moved off Maniac (whose wagon was going nowhere for a while) it was to join me on brain after I'd moved off of Demon. Maybe he thought he could get momentum for a counterwagon going.
