Don't you normally have a bunch of town reads on D1 and slowly develop the scum reads as the game goes on?

Why I say this is I thought this was your intentional strategy to survive N1.

There is proof that these two are great at scum theater in the last game I ran.

I’m really feeling uninspired by this JamieT catchup. It feels like he is seizing upon regurgitated moments that have already been pointed out. And that makes me think hes just doing what he thinks he usually does

Also my take - Jamie's entrance was rather different than normal.

I think I agree with your conclusion that darg is looking scummy, though I think I would go about making the argument differently.

For one, you're framing it as if ghug and Vecna were setting the trap intentionally which doesn't seem to be the case. At least, if it was the case then I'm surprised they aren't jumping more over it. I also think that you are glossing over the fact that he said he found himself tunneling severely after a single post regarding Bona.

- I'm an intuitive player, at least for the greater part, that's why most queues I jump on are often looked upon as strange (like in my last game where I first thought jamiet was 3rd party but actually was just PR but then on the other hand I sensed the connection between worcej and ghug last game while I spectated) so I'm having a hard time to make sense of things, at least in the way to explain them to others.

as for the framing of setting the trap ... partly, yes, like in the sense 'oh we agree on something, then lets test this and see who follows', at least I'd expect both of them of having so much game experience that they could pull it off as every role (and right now I don't think either of them is mafia with what I've seen from them so far *whisper* even if ghug still can be eviii~iil *whisper* )

and yeah, I missed (or rather didn't compute consciously) that he said that, this increases my doubtlevel on him

I don't know about a trap... I don't understand why he moved to Maniac but I don't really understand the scumreads on Maniac in general. I actually think darg's move to Maniac was less opportunistic than his vote for Bona, considering ghug and Vecna had been on Maniac for a while before he moved there. If it was just about joining a big wagon he could have moved to food... but I guess there are other reasons why scum!Darg might pick Maniac over food there.

- yes, it might've been just coincidence and not a trap but (especially at the time) I could see pull them off something like that. With ghug now saying he actually reads maniac as mafia, my trap theory makes no sense (but then again, it could be just ghug and doesn't think that).

considering the vote, I remember darg saying something about the bot tracker not working and then working again, so I'm pretty sure he had a look at the tracker when voting. Before he voted, it was 2 votes on maniac, bona and food, after that 3 maniac, 2 food and the rest only 1. Hmm ... thanks for pointing that out, that might be useful later on.

I legitimately like the Maniac vote as much as I can like any vote day one. Darg's votes are unimpressive but not completely out of character. I'm more concerned with the way he walked back the Bona vote when it became clear his logic was backwards.

Actually this is interesting.

Worcej appears to agree with Ghug's scumread on Kgray and talks up how good a scum player Kgray is, while at the same time Worcej is currently voting Hamilton because of how much he agreed with Kgray's suspicion of Hamilton.

@Worcej: You must assume Kgray was trying to bus Hamilton there, hmm?

also my current impressions as far as D1 is any good for that: Chaqa strong town, brain and vecna pretty towny, damo is damo, rd is worth having a closer look, demonrhk is somewhat towny, ghug looks good (but somehow something is whispering in my ear he's evil), from the few thing's I've seen from maniac he is ok (but would like see more), jamiet is ... surprisingly silent, that's unusual, then dargo looks bad right now, I feel something not too good from hamilton, but that might be just a thing with 'the third to claim missed start' thing

if I had a gun, right now, I'd (threaten and) shoot in this kinda order: dargo > hamilton > rd = jamiet

Of the people you mention here, how many have you not played with before?

I know it myself, I focussed too much on people I know more of, but I had a lot to process in a short time. For the exact answer to your question: if I'm not wrong, I never played a game with Hamilton Brian before, so that would make one.

Then again, I didn't get a clear thought of people I've played (or at least watched a game of) too, so I didn't include them in my impressions above.
