so which was more annoying for you Jamie
learning HR subbed you in randomly without warning
or learning you were scum in a game you didnt intend to be in

Wow you make new pages very quick. Which is good but also annoying.

I really don't see how "misunderstanding some stuff" is anything other than "I saw people talking about whether scum!bona would defend town!Macca and assumed bona had defended Macca." I get being confused about hypotheticals but digging into this assumption by saying Bona had gone overboard defending Macca with an over-the-top defense just tells me darg is trying to go along with the reads of the room. I don't see any other reason for him to do this?dargorygel wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 7:45 pmWelk, ok...
My vote on bona I have explained. I thought he over-pushed on the macca defense. But I see that my logical foundation was based on misunderstanding some stuff.
Not sure where to go... I found myself tunneling pretty severely.
Maniac's one post was not maniacal enough though.

I especially disliked his pre-emptive dismissal of people calling it out for being trite.Vecna wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:12 pmI wanted to respond to the first post myself with a "feeling daring today are we"foodcoats wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:03 pmAt first this looked not very compelling to me, but I really like your point that "I'd say there's at least 1 scum/wolf in the above group." I'm sure someone else will swoop in and say that's trite or whatever but I actually think that's a fair point worthy of consideration, especially on D1.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 4:58 pmManiac's post...meh, not significant to conclude town/not town.
Damo? Meh, but points some fingers at brain and Chaqa.
Kakarotto? Hmm.
RDR. Not the typical entrance I feel like I remember from them.
Macca: that opening was weird, strangely enthusiastic, but then descends into book discourse.
Demon: not sure how I feel about the opening. Points finger at Bona but then seems to double down on the set-up.
yavu: interesting start. kind of synonymous with Demon.
celaph: is that some early pocketing happening?
ghug: ambivalent about their start. The vote seems to be nothing more than a placeholder until the temperature gets colder.
The remaining 8 players have posted much more so it'll be a longer read from me, but I'd say there's at least 1 scum/wolf in the above group.
Two players haven't posted at all, but I would tend to agree that in the block of "blasé participation" there is probably at least one enemy. I have my personal thoughts about the players in your list but as a heuristic for town to look at today, it's a good starting point.
....but then food swoops in here and starts drooling over "how good a p oint it is"?
wtf?
he listed 9 players. How is it at all interesting to assume theres -at least- 1 scum in there? Thats half the bloody playerlist

Neither of these things has occurred.
First of all, I told HR that he could put me in if needed; I simply hadn't checked webDip for a day or two because the pubs have just reopened and I spent the weekend socialising. Then I came on and realised the game was underway, and he had needed me. "Without warning" isn't the way I would have phrased that.
Last of all, I am not scum.

Scum are scared that I solved the last game.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
But I did this in my next post. Here

This and the first post about falling asleep. Is rivera trying to stay low? Real excuses can be real or made up, we must assume they are real but claiming to be lazy. I too didn't used to read some pages but you'd at least read the setup lol. Untowny vibes from rivera.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 1:10 pm
I think Chaqa's post is helpful for lazy people like me, but nothing AI.
Two really weird posts by Damo until now.

This reminds me of you being the first person to suggest that kgray had been shut after you shot her last game.

Thinking out loud.
Small nails = Brad, is this a reference to Brad Pitt? What is Brad Pitt famous for? Thelma and Louise, Oceans 11, Friends (scum buddies) Bradgelina. Oh Bradgelina is a portmanteau as is werewolf so Small Nails is code for werewolf. OK but why use this code. Is it a crumb? It will have some significance before the game ends.
Also foodcoats isn't scum, or if he is I'm going to give up playing.

That's not what someone trying to crash the bot would look like.brainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:25 pmI sort of thought in my darkest most sinister consideration that yav was attempting to execute a script that would crash the bot on purpose to take it out of use. But I also thought that would be super unsporting, and very outside of his level of evil. yav simply wouldnt try to crash the bot imo.
but the joke still didnt make much sense to me. maybe it wasnt for me. I dunno who the joke was for.
Jamie reacting to this seems a little forced since it has already been discussed a decent amount

Vecna's always right when he agrees with me.

Oh sure. Three scum would all jump on you D1, together, instead of waiting until night to kill you.
Extremely plausible.
