I would add that after Jasnah death, there we only 15 messages from me and Maniac, probably because I don't fully trust him until Fox claimed.Maniac wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 2:41 pmThe walkie-talkie QT has 105 messages, 15 from admins, 32 were deleted. Early ones were messing around and late on rdriveria and I check in to see we are not camped. It’s a million miles form Stockholm syndrome which is in itself pseudoscience and would apply here anyway. I think both of us are taking it into account where it’s relevant.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 2:29 pmSo Maniac and Rdrivera are both townreading each other for things related to the Walkie Talkie QT.
Is this good reasoning or could there be buddying / Stockholm syndrome in play?

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
So Maniac and Rdrivera townread each other.
Every time I try to persuade Ghug to consider Maniac I've just gotten back variations of "I know but look at Rdrivera".
I have tried my best. I did look at Rdrivera and I don't think he's scum.

Ghug, you invited me to re-consider Rdrivera.
I have done as you asked.
As a result I am going to eliminate Rdrivera from my suspicions.
It's either Maniac or Ghug.

Oh I see. I've been pretty upfront that I see some merit to your arguments, and I'm willing to switch if you ultimately decide I'm wrong. I don't see the issue with that.
You don't find the interactions with brain or the constant substanceless scumreading of worcej problematic?
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
He's played most of the game free and loose, and we've had a solid steady rate of one or two ridiculous Maniac plans per day. Scum Maniac is more guarded and appears more like a normal person.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 11:13 am@Ghug:

I watched Alien Maniac carefully when I was the GM in M64, in which the Aliens were essentially Mafia Team #2, and he was nothing like you're describing. He was ridiculous, aggressive, risk-taking.ghug wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:52 pmHe's played most of the game free and loose, and we've had a solid steady rate of one or two ridiculous Maniac plans per day. I've re-read and you've pointed out weird interactions with brainbomb for both Maniac and Rdrivera. I don't see how Rdrivera's interactions with brainbomb are somehow an order of magnitude more suspect. Also, it's brainbomb.
Rdrivera gave two reasons for scumreading Worcej. One of them was meta regarding Worcej's early relaxed posting style, and one of them was regarding Worcej's strong push on Lfischl. I don't see what you're seeing.

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
As part of a three-person Alien team, he bussed one of his fellow aliens with extreme, ultra-violent aggression from the very beginning of the game, so much so that Dargorygel and I both said "wow" to each other in our Discord chat.ghug wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:59 pmThat isn't how I remember it.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:56 pmI watched Alien Maniac carefully when I was the GM in M64, in which the Aliens were essentially Mafia Team #2, and he was nothing like you're describing. Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Like, Alien Maniac showed a level of aggression usually reserved for Hellenic Riot miskilling a Vanilla Townie.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
rd and brain were scumreading each other and arguing a fair amount until brain want crazy on everyone, and then they barely mentioned each other. That's definitely weird.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 5:02 pmI've re-read and you've pointed out weird interactions with brainbomb for both Maniac and Rdrivera. He gave two reasons for scumreading worcej early, and then kept listing him as a desirable kill without any more elaboration or ever interacting with him directly. Also weird.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Hmm, ok, lemme go back and look. I'm basing most of my scum meta for him on the entire multi-year ouvre, but I don't remember that game surprising me particularly.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 5:05 pmLike, Alien Maniac showed a level of aggression usually reserved for Hellenic Riot miskilling a Vanilla Townie.

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Ok, looking back over his D1 from N64, I see him asking a lot of normal questions and giving the appearance of a normal person hunting. It does appear he bussed strongly, but his general demeanor took on an affect that wouldn't get him scumread, which I don't see in this game.
