@vecna, why have you switched your stance around on me?
Earlier in the day you voted me over Damo when we both had confirmed alien DNA. You then switched to Damo without explaining the change of heart. And now that Damo no longer has alien DNA you're still seeing him as a better target than me.

Also, if we are lucky and Celaph is Alien we can get back to going after scum. I still think Fox is the most likely and Worcej or Ghug the second one.
Maniac could be the Secretary but he isn't Item Thief as he was in Sat QT since D1 with me and Jasnah (Alien already has this info so I decided to disclose it). Anyway, not my first choice to flip as he has 50% less chance to be scum.

Like, I dont agree with this course of action, but theres no point in not having a unanimous vote

I voted him over the way he reacted, the way he tried to push onto Rdrivera, and his reasoning on not using the kit.celaph wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:49 pm@vecna, why have you switched your stance around on me?

I thought that was pretty obvious

Why scum will have the info that Macca was infected? Care to explain?damo666 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:50 pmAha. Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I would urge you all to analyze the celaph not alien lines as *spoiler alert* those fit the game much better than the celaph alien lines.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
More accurately 'of unknown alien dna status' [apart from to the alien itself] of course.celaph wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:49 pm@vecna, why have you switched your stance around on me?

I'm not saying we should do it, I'm just thinking aloud through the implications.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:31 pmWhat are you talking about? If damo is infected town or mafia, we have no way of knowing and have to assume the above.Vecna wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:18 pmI dont know if I agree with this change of voting.
All the reasons to vote damo still sort of exist. His reaction has been off. He saved the kit wtih a reason.
At least Rdrivera is cleared of being the alien, and I feel with how he has been pushing people, I can treat him more or less as a townclear.
If damo is alien and we kill celaph, mafia targeting damo gets us to 4/9 infected, we kill alien, things are good. Mafia targeting someone else gets us to 3 or 4/8 infected, again no way of knowing, and we're in much the same place as the other scenario.
There's a same medium worst case outcome, and maybe a slightly better chance of the alien immediately dead outcome, but we also risk losing outright overnight if we kill damo.
Alien have then the option to try to win next day or kill Jamiet and we will need to act accordingly. Scum won't target Alien, that's pretty obvious.
We can assume mafia will target in a way that benefits everyone against alien if and only if other targets could lead to an immediate alien win. They clearly aren't playing ball with us, but I can't imagine they'll willingly lose either.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Like, killing Celaph gives us nothing unless he's the alien right?
Were killing to not lose instantly. Were not killing to win.
We kill an infected, but the alien instantly infects a new target. Scum kills someone (that helps THEM, not us).
So we better be sure we hit the alien today. Hitting just an infected person is a losing play.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Sorry, being stupid. Forgot Macca wasn't one of Jamie's targets.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Just check out Maniac and foxcastle's reaction to Jamiet.ghug wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:53 pmI'm not saying we should do it, I'm just thinking aloud through the implications.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:31 pmWhat are you talking about? Knowing now he did not scan Damo, the way they both coordinatedly jumped onto Damo (I made the woodworks comment) just makes me feel the Secretary told the other guy in scumchat that Jamiet was bullshitting and to play along.
This just makes me think they know they dont stand much of a chance unless the alien is the bigger danger.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I honestly don't think you're the alien right now, but I don't think you want us to not kill you, so this is where we are.
What do you think we should be analyzing exactly?
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Hopefully Jamie gets a useful result. I could gamble with the kit too.Vecna wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 7:53 pmLike, killing Celaph gives us nothing unless he's the alien right?
