Regarding the alien's ability to manipulate votes, the line reads
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
i have not read up fully yet, but i saw the news
it appears we only really have 3 options today
out of those, i prefer damo
##vote damo

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
They can fuck with up to two votes, so I assume that means it starts immediately and continues as long as they're infected.celaph wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 3:52 amRegarding the alien's ability to manipulate votes, the line reads

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
it... is?
i think
so its possible if alien infected a scum that they tried to redirect protect themselves from getting targeted with nk, or get an extra kill through
although given that the maf vote on an nk idk how it would work exactly
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
not that this is at all relevant today, but if alien didnt redirect the scumkill its likely that scum are really scared of townclears right?

this is a legitimate criticism of the idea jamie has been carrying throughout the conversationghug wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:02 pmThe problem now is that we can't know if we've actually cured anyone or if they're the alien unless we use an additional scan or kit, so using the kit to cure someone doesn't prevent us from having to kill them.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:00 pmWe also need to limit the number of people going around with Alien DNA.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 10:58 pm
because its obviously better used on someone thats not already scanned?
were trying to find the alien as highest priority. not be uncertain on whetjer the cure actually worked.
note: I asked the gm before hand. kitting the alien or an infected person gives exactly the same result
I'm worried you think healing Damo of Alien DNA would have been a "waste" when it literally hinders the Alien's wincon. A waste would be using it on someone who was not infected in the first place.
You are being very odd.
i think vecna was wise to "scan" someone who was not known to be infected/alien, because we can't know if we actually disinfected them
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
This is why I suggested this quite a while ago.BobMcBob wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 5:29 amthis is a legitimate criticism of the idea jamie has been carrying throughout the conversationghug wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:02 pmThe problem now is that we can't know if we've actually cured anyone or if they're the alien unless we use an additional scan or kit, so using the kit to cure someone doesn't prevent us from having to kill them.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:00 pm

Should have tried being me for a day.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
i feel like if i did i wouldve shot jamie day 1 or something similarly ridiculous, which may not have been great for usghug wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 5:34 amThis is why I suggested this quite a while ago.

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Nah, I claim my guns and use them to scare people. It's possible I would have made Jamie panic claim, but that happened anyway.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
regardless, i think one ghug is plenty for any given game of mafia
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
i wouldnt put it past them to not dot that anyway, but it would not be at all in their interests anymore to avoid going after infectees/potential aliens, and i hope they realise that
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
No like we have a good chance literally fucking lose.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
i get that, but the scumteam may not
@scum, actually do kill celaph tonight (does rdr work? idk)
like this is actually important
you probably lose otherwise
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Rdr won't die if they attempt to NK him unless Vecna is lying. Celaph won't either if he's the alien, but rd isn't worth the target.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
oh yeah, that makes sense
never mind
nk celaph
