Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I do not think there is much agreement on that currently. Most people seem to think fox is likely scum at least.
##call gm
Do people killed during the night still receive a notification if their item was stolen?

Yes, they need two Itens to claim. One will be Brain's, that even if he was telling the truth have multiple copies. So, they just need another one from the Item Thief and this is pretty easy.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 9:12 amitem thief + the guy with the raybeam both have no items they can claim.
Both will have to lie (and most likely claim items that were stolen)
So, I don't see any possible won from a massclaim right now. The downside isn't big, but I don't want to give the chance for thief to get the containment field or alien the chance to kill people with the disinfection kit.

Ok this item claim is probably a bit of a waste of time, so I'll keep totally quiet about what item I'm wearing tonight.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
While I was just biking I got the sudden inpulse that I actually have a pretty good instinct as to who one of the last scum might very well be.
Will be doing some further research and probably drop the news in a detailed case at EoN

Also, today is election day in the netherlands. Polls predict that our population does not understand the concept of judging the current government for their failures with your vote.
Our government probably handled the issue concerning facemasks probably just as poorly as trump did. Our country has had a bloody curfew for 3 months now. Even though they have reopened elementary schools and those are now responsible for a significant portion of the spread, they continue doing a poor job on vaccination efforts, which still mainly focus on elderly people while the health sector staff still has not even been fully vaccinated.
I guess we should salute them though. Keeping our country in quarantine is a creative solution to a bigger problem, and probably the only way were ever going to get anywhere halfway to meeting climate goals, since their other policy seems to indicatee they dont really care.

also, clears; just as im of the opinion that we should ignore rdrivera and ghugs opinion on the itemclaim since theyre in our potential kill4scum pool, its understandable they dont wanna follow my orders here.
Speak up and discuss the issue with something besides sarcasm if you want to not waste this potential opportunity.

Not like our country will be one of the worst hit in the world. Its only projected to flood for a good 70% of its total surface. Why would you care about your mandate to protect us from such beautiful forecasts as giving everyone a beautiful lake in their back garden.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 12:07 pmAlso, today is election day in the netherlands. Instead of dismissing my points based on me not being a clear (and neither you), could you adress my points? I will repeat them to make it easier:Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 12:09 pmalso, clears; just as im of the opinion that we should ignore rdrivera and ghugs opinion on the itemclaim since theyre in our potential kill4scum pool, its understandable they dont wanna follow my orders here.

1 - Considering Item Thief two nights, Brain's item and also the original item for at least one scum alive how do you think town will get something out of the claim?
2- You don't think there are items best kept away from scum or alien?

Even if you try you can't compare on what Brasilian government have been doing. We have currently over 2500 deaths per day and our president said people should stop crying.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
personally im not overly fond of the whole item claim idea, although i would happily claim mine
i just dont think it would be beneficial to us, and may come with consequences if we havent used all the items yet
it seems very unlikely to trap anyone as well

I mean, ive discussed these exact points just on the previous page with ghug?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 12:49 pmInstead of dismissing my points based on me not being a clear (and neither you), could you adress my points? Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Anyways, if people dont wanna do it, its ok.
Its not a hill im willing to die on. There is indeed no guaranteed upside, but just taking the chance to out a scum -maybe- seemed worth it to me.

Two big flaws here:Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 9:12 amitem thief + the guy with the raybeam both have no items they can claim.
Both will have to lie (and most likely claim items that were stolen)
- You're assuming the person that used the beam is still alive. I wholeheartedly agree that it was most likely in scum's hands based on timing and target.
- Several items cannot be confirmed easily such as the alien DNA kit and the vest, so scum could 'shuffle' their items around from their initial list to make the claim situation go well for them.
