I still think Thamrick is alien and I think the remaining 4 scum are

I am neglecting the tiny chances of Bob being alien or Bob and/or celaph making a desperate scum power play.

I really don't know what ending achieved other than escaping brain's annoyningness, he had already heavily signalled.

There's no use in not ending when the day has been decided.

Also tham posted shortly post-flip, so we wouldn't have gotten a second kill.

My only thoughts are that tham has an important item or that brain was confident enough that tham was alien and thought his team stood a better chance of winning with the alien alive than with him.

Exactly. Tbe claim was a joke, he knew it will get him DKed as it's easily disprovable even without real camper claiming.

Who's it going to clear at this point anyway? Presumably scum have stolen multiple items by now, and they can claim whatever brain had if it wasn't the gun.
