I don’t know what you’ve heard, but it’s bad advice.

If you had are town with a gun and have two strong scum reads a 100% on bunny and 70% on someone else. Shoot the someone else and let Bunny be daykilled. That way two big scum reads die. Now you have to press for a daykill on you’re 70% scum read and scum can influence and block that kill.

Shooting confirmed scum is just bad play. But we are where we are. Who are your top scum reads?
I agree with these comments. See Bob, I told you you were being trigger happy.

This is all pure "how to play Mafia 101" stuff mind you so doesn't make me suddenly townread Maniac.
Well, thank god you hosers are in 101 and I've advanced to 102, because they teach you the right shit in my class!

Im guessing a lot of stuff happened behind the scenes that some of us are not privvy to.

So many people are sounding pissed off this game (granted, I had my own moment after we killed lfischl).

Brain is sounding very annoyed at times over things that make no sense

Fox has been sounding pissed all game

Jasnah sounded way more pissed off all game

Rdrivera has been sounding very pissed were not sheeping him on Fox.

I guess maybe I shouldve put 2+2 together and connected the dots, also in combination with jasnah tellins us to sheep Rdrivera?

Maybe scum were forced to kill Jasnah because she still has that knowledge? Is it connected to Rdivera? Is it that fox was the obv-MP?

Im just drawing blanks here, but theres probably some explenations why everyone is so wound up lol.
And I've been in a good mood all game and loving everyone and everything around me...

Freaky Friday much?

The Alien will probably kill Jamie tonight if they have any desire to win.
Just as well I'll be wearing my Bulletproof Vest tonight then!

What if kgray was the alien who got vaporized at the start of the game?

I have been told that my scan result is incorrect. THAMRICK ACTUALLY SCANNED AS AREA-51.
Is this a troll?
no. The scan is not very useful.

My thoughts to this point:
  1. As gamey as it is, I'm pretty sure there is something going on with Tham's role that caused the issue with the adjudication. GM'ing enough times, this can happen and is absolutely the worst result possible - we've gained information we shouldn't have had access to and is allowing for speculation.
  2. I poked a little about this, but damo's analysis on grouping automatically assume town for Bob and celaph, which isn't truly the case since they could easily be the alien trying to get town credit.
  3. That being said, Bob and celaph are most likely not-traditional scum unless they are making a power-move play. They are just as likely to be 3p as the rest of us, especially Bob since he could easily control shooting a non-infected person.
  4. I don't see the Foxcastle scum vibes people are seeing. I think he is in his lighter town-mode.
  5. Rdr is on-meta for me, which would mean primarily town when applying recency bias. But his scum game is similar enough to his town game that it's hard to distinct the two for me.
  6. Vecna is doing his thing. Towning based off how he is playing. I'll accept being wrong in post-game and give him MVP if he's scum.
  7. The Alien has me intrigued - Pretty much it's this: why is Jamie still alive? His role is literally designed to stop them and the longer Jamie lives, the least likely they are to win. Were they scared of the tracking items? Are they trying to drive infects up more and hoping scum just handle Jamie for them? Or was the alien kgray who got blasted on D1?
##vote Thamrick

Figuring out why the messup happened is best. My gut says tham is most likely scum, second most likely town, 4rd likely alien, 4th likely random framer target.

Especially if Brainbomb is scum, dont complete discount the more out there strategies to mislead us into falsely clearing someone.

Alien and scum couldve also received the 2nd gun or the nightvision goggles. Using the gun in this way wouldve been really ballsy (and probably really bad seeing how it could be used during the day to kill the alien I think).

I really think this is exactly how either alignment wouldve used the nightvision goggles. Well, not literally use it like that as scum, obviously theyd try to fish for PR's, but whenever it was bussing time, they definitely would just make this claim.

Thats not saying that it is what I THINK happened. Celaph has been decently close to his town meta. I wouldnt say I have a lock townread on him though.

Just something to keep at the back of our minds.
There's an outside shot celaph is scum, sure. It's irksome that you're making it out to be likely. If they wanted Bunny dead, wouldn't they be better off bussing him the normal way and having him fakeclaim something? Do you really think there was nobody on the team that made more sense to catch for cred than Bunny?

I would assume the alien starts killing clears same as scum to decrease the herd
This sounds like petitioning for the alien to work with you.

Town is not winning this game right now. The alien should play accordingly.

Wow Brainbomb in a really bad mood for no apparent reason after Town finally killed scum. Super weird.
I mean, Vecna was in a Vecna-spiral of theory crafting when he said that.
no he said that when I suggested Celaph is not lock-town for this

BREAKING NEWS
A small furry animal with long ears has probably been found dead, probably torn to pieces by a multitude of small, hard, high-velocity objects. Unless of course the creature was wearing a mysteriously obtained vest, which would really suck.
Nice shot. Un-scumlisted.
TBF, and give me a second.

*places tinfoil hat on head*

The alien is just as likely to use the gun to garner town-cred. Just because he shot a confirmed scum, doesn't make him not scum.
I hadn't considered this. Bob could be alien. He's nota s clear as I thought.
