Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
From mpov the 4 remaining baddies are in
brain
Fox
ghug
Maniac
rdr
Vecna
Worcej
Four of the 6 who aren't Fox are voting Fox so I am going to read this as a town indicator for Fix and limit my vote to one of those 4 Fox voters, namely ghug, brain, rdr and Maniac.
Brain wasn't voting Fox yesterday so I'll eliminate him (despite his wobbling around like blancmange on a sea of Tizer giving me bad vibes).
I'm lightly townreading rdr which leaves me ghug and Maniac. I have my suspicions about ghug but I think Maniac ultimately likely to gain more traction and he is equally sus so

My current guess for the gang of 4 is
Maniac ghug brain worcej
I must have at least 1 right!

I also wanna revisit this again.brainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 1:27 amits moronic to always distrust ppl who get scum killed
Brainbomb, how do you think scum would use the nightvision goggles?
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I think im just gonna ignore it. He does it as town all the time. Would he be aware of that as scum, and try to fake it at least once? Possible. I dont remember if he's ever tried faking it as scum before but brainbomb is highly effective at mimicking his own townplay.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 1:33 amWhat do you make of Brainbomb seeming desperate to claim his role at EoN and then vanishing without doing so?
The one thing im not seeing at play here is genuine suspicion on his part. I may be a little biased, since theres obviously some tidbits of it here and there.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Oh, I actually missed that you did respond to it. Ignore my earlier post remindercelaph wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 2:16 amI didn't think he was high on anyone's list of priorities to DK (besides yours and you didn't seem to be able to get many people behind you). I have you as a townlean and didn't want you death tunneling Bunny as now you can focus elsewhere. I had fears in the back of my mind that his early townread of me was a move to pocket me, particularly:And lastly just a general fear that holding it for late game doesn't work if scum win before then.

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Like I said, I am starting to enter paranoia mode. Anyway, I don't think you are the right push today, so I won't engage in this discussion.Vecna wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 8:49 amWhat? where did Jasnah scumread me? What nonsense is this?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:15 amMy first tendency is to vote Fox, but it seems that he is already a runaway wagon.
I still think Worcej could be scum, he double down on killing lfischl being the right move and said he is cum reading anyone who didn't vote lfischl.
I am also really worried that Ghug could be playing a low profile scum or alien game.
And Maniac is just coasting and Brain isn't obvtowning as he usually does.
And Jasnah was scum reading Vecna last night, which I also could see doing a SxS theater with Bunny.
And I am entering paranoia mode. Will sleep and try to re-read Bunny.
For now, ##vote Foxcastle
Also Rdrivera, you of all people should know this was not scum theatre. That Bona thinks so is one thing because he's probably unaware of the history between me and bunny.
Bunny literally called me out for going after chaqa/Jamiet. When I called him out on having too much knowledge, and him trying to throw suspicion on me based on looking like he already knew too much of those players allignment, he SUDDENLY stopped coming me whatsoever.
He KNEW I had caught him. And he just resorted to trying to shade me in the background, without scumreading me.
This is not how SvS plays. This is how guilty scum plays that knows he is caught.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Its kinda funny you said this, and then did a 180 and got suspicious of Chaqa voters, Rdrivera.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:55 pmI have to agree with Vecna here. This just feels like it lacks the critical thought that I normally associate with Vecna. Of all the people with poor reasons to vote Jamie, why is this the one that you want to push? I can't help but feel that Chaqa was chosen because he's easy to push. He's rather feared after M62 and few will actively come out of the woodwork to push back despite a poor day like they will do with others.
If he wants to try and tank his town-game to just be able to lurk out his scumgames I will gladly kill him D1 every single game.
Also, what critical thought are you looking for? He is actively making it so that no critical thought can be applied.
Regardless, I want you to actually engage with me, and go back to that page and read the interaction between me and bunny (it mainly starts on the page after this quoted post).
Go reread it and tell me if you genuinely believe that can be scum theatre.

I don't understand your logic here. You think most of the scumteam are pilling on town Fox at start of the day? Don't you think it's more likely they are bussing as Fox will be flipped sooner or later?damo666 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:13 amFrom mpov the 4 remaining baddies are in

If Fox is town I expect scum to be avoiding his wagon a bit but keeping his option to vote him later if a teammate turns into the counterwagon.
In fact the only think I like on your post is you tryng to make Maniac a counter, this could tell a lot about your alignment later.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
And yes, im still suspicious of a scumteam with brainbomb that has chosen to NK people with the worst reads to "lock them in".
If Ghug and Damo are actually town, then HR was wrong on pretty much EVERYTHING.
Jasnah also did not have many strong reads, and the ones she did have earlier on in the game have mostly panned out to being the reverse as well. She only has had a strong read on Rdrivera as far as I remember.

Whoa if Thamrick is town there are 5 baddies in that group of 7 (or 8 if you include me).

##call GM
Does the alien's night immunity apply to investigatives? If the deputy were to visit the alien, what result would they get (assuming no other outside interference).

If Fox is scum then there is some heavy bussing so voting in that group is still fine.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:36 amI don't understand your logic here. Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I believe in what I said there, if you play to protect your scum meta (being scummy on purpose instead of trying to be obvtown) you deserve a DK. But Chaqa came back after that exchange and posted in a way I didn't think scum Chaqa do and you even interacted with him and didn't change your vote, that's what made me scumread you after EOD1.Vecna wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:35 amIts kinda funny you said this, and then did a 180 and got suspicious of Chaqa voters, Rdrivera.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:55 pmI have to agree with Vecna here. I will try to do a re-read on Bunny, but I think you have the ability to fake almost anything (and this is a compliment). I try to read you on your actions more then on what you write.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Thamrick and jail.
1 He is town
2 He is alien
3 He is MiB being given cover.
Problem with 2 is the GM error.

Go and reread it. Im sure with the current information in mind you will be able to TASTE the "oh shit" response from Bunny after I call him out on exactly what he is doing.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:46 amI believe in what I said there, if you play to protect your scum meta (being scummy on purpose instead of trying to be obvtown) you deserve a DK. And I too regret Chaqa's interference with his shit play. I know it wont help now, but I doubt my vote wouldve stayed on him, but real life interfered and I was not around for the last 6-7h of D1 or so.

yeah im fully suspecting we can clear him of being the alien after the GM answers my question

Didn’t we start with 6 bad guys? So when you say ‘from my point of view the remaining 4 bad guys are...’. The only implication I can draw is that you must be a bad guy and possibly the Alien.damo666 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:13 amFrom mpov the 4 remaining baddies are in

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Especially if Brainbomb is scum, dont complete discount the more out there strategies to mislead us into falsely clearing someone.
Alien and scum couldve also received the 2nd gun or the nightvision goggles. Using the gun in this way wouldve been really ballsy (and probably really bad seeing how it could be used during the day to kill the alien I think).
I really think this is exactly how either alignment wouldve used the nightvision goggles. Well, not literally use it like that as scum, obviously theyd try to fish for PR's, but whenever it was bussing time, they definitely would just make this claim.
Thats not saying that it is what I THINK happened. Celaph has been decently close to his town meta. I wouldnt say I have a lock townread on him though.
Just something to keep at the back of our minds.
