Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
My first tendency is to vote Fox, but it seems that he is already a runaway wagon.
I still think Worcej could be scum, he double down on killing lfischl being the right move and said he is cum reading anyone who didn't vote lfischl.
I am also really worried that Ghug could be playing a low profile scum or alien game.
And Maniac is just coasting and Brain isn't obvtowning as he usually does.
And Jasnah was scum reading Vecna last night, which I also could see doing a SxS theater with Bunny.
And I am entering paranoia mode. Will sleep and try to re-read Bunny.
For now, ##vote Foxcastle

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
How does this mean anything though? If he hasn't read his role PM, then he doesn't know what his wincon would be.brainbomb wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 7:18 pmI find it very unlikely hes telling the truth
firstly lets say bob was the jailor
then his action is a day action
his QT is a day chat
if his item is a gun its able to be fired by day
the motive to not read ones PM in this setup is just so counter to any wincon a person may rand
if hes camper hes basically unable to use powers until d2
if hes vt with a day use item he risks it getting stolen
if hes alien he gains the ability to play as town unawkwardly
im just struggling to see how neglecting to read role pm could be advantageous for any role in this other than alien
Sure, it's annoying, but it is a little fun. And I believe it was the perfect lead-in to LowerCaseBob.

I see a simple solution to this problem.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 5:24 pmI didn't think it was the case, since it was not mentioned in the role PM.Vecna wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 5:20 pmNothing to do with Damo, it just occured to me you wouldve had ways of playing the role entirely differently depending on whether your sanity flips upon death or not.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 5:13 pm
...because knowing my sanity earlier is better? We could know my sanity tomorrow if we're lucky.
Why are you saying this in response to my conversation with damo?
So you never asked the GM if your sanity flips for us on death?
If you're so interested, why don't you ask the gm yourself? I don't see what this conversation is getting us.
##CALL GM
Does the deputy's sanity flip on death?
And, second question:
What is the interaction between Paranoid Cop, and MiB (specifically their ability)?

If you're scum I'll be so sad because you're saying a huge amount of what I'm thinking.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:15 amMy first tendency is to vote Fox, but it seems that he is already a runaway wagon.

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I don’t know what you’ve heard, but it’s bad advice.
If you had are town with a gun and have two strong scum reads a 100% on bunny and 70% on someone else. Shoot the someone else and let Bunny be daykilled. That way two big scum reads die. Now you have to press for a daykill on you’re 70% scum read and scum can influence and block that kill.
Shooting confirmed scum is just bad play. But we are where we are. Who are your top scum reads?

Also Rdrivera, you of all people should know this was not scum theatre. That Bona thinks so is one thing because he's probably unaware of the history between me and bunny.
Bunny literally called me out for going after chaqa/Jamiet. When I called him out on having too much knowledge, and him trying to throw suspicion on me based on looking like he already knew too much of those players allignment, he SUDDENLY stopped coming me whatsoever.
He KNEW I had caught him. And he just resorted to trying to shade me in the background, without scumreading me.
This is not how SvS plays. This is how guilty scum plays that knows he is caught.

You went right back to your scum meta play, didnt you?
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
SO THAMRICK 5/16 SCUM 11/16 TOWN.
Or if you prefer 69% town 31% scum.
However this ignores the possibility that Thamrick was jailed. So maybe temper this to say 75% town 25% scum.
I believe Thamrick is the only jailee candidate but this could be a scum ploy to attempt to clear him.
For the moment we give him the benefit of the doubt I guess.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
The alien is night immune. Any action targeting him except those that circumvent night immunity fail.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 7:32 pmI can't have certainty, but your theory that he was alien and that scum scanned him N1 (do they have a role scan, I don't remember) is so far fetched that seems you are brainbomb on steroids.Vecna wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 7:09 pmThis is some weird ass reasoning Rdrivera. Like you can somehow have some strong certainty that Fox is scum AND that he wasnt bussed.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 7:04 pm
Your reads are as good as your reads on Chaqa and lfischl....
I know I am not Mafia and I think Fox is scum and I also think the resistance of his wagon against an obvious town lfischl shows that Mafia didn't bus.
But hey, keep defending Fox and let's wagon who voted him, seems a legit thought.
Fox could be scum or alien and maybe someone bussed him, but I will eat a shoe if 3 scum voted him as you suggested.
Depending on item usage, scum would have quite a number of ways to discover the alien quickly this way.
Note how I also claimed my action failed last night.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Ok, I had another out there theory that scum couldve figured out that their gunman was controlled by the alien and that they wanted to bus him convincingly, but the role actually describes that scum can just circumvent it by having someone else carry out the kill.
Interestingly enough, according to the gunman PM, he is the one that learns the identity of the janitored kill. Itd be interesting if it turns out thats why people did not want us to kill him instantly, since bunny wasnt around just after EoD.
He mightve just posted the result in the scum PT without us knowing ofcourse, but I doubt bunny couldve resisted typing anything in the game thread after being caught.

Ofcourse, this also sort of kills the theoryJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 10:19 pmI can reveal, for what it's worth, that BunnyGo returned a "NO ALIEN DNA" result from my N1 scan.
