What he said.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 3:37 pmAnd what isn't gut feeling at this point? I don't pretend I have a convoluted case on you or a brilliant syntactic analysis of your posts. I don't like people voting lfishcl because the herb and you were a decent counter. Do you want to OMGUS me, fine, it won't be the first time.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 2:02 pmThe votes on me are pathetic.
Rdrivera, your reasoning is especially flimsy. You're voting me because I got irate at one thing (that I have been harping on game after game) versus another thing (that I don't have an emotional reaction about—if you want a temper tantrum about PRs claiming too soon, go find Jamie). If this wasn't so lame, it'd be scummy, but at least if you just said "gut feeling," that would be less scummy.
Maniac thinks because I sat on the Jasnah wagon EOD1 that must mean I'm scum. "I would never do that as scum" is one of the weakest defenses a player can make, but seriously, if I was scum, there's no way I'd leave my ass hanging out like that when I had every opportunity to move to Jamie or Chaqa. Especially knowing that the only other person sitting on the Jasnah wagon with me was likely to flip, there's no way I would have sat there like that as scum and made myself a very obvious target for VCA later on.
Weak: Jasnah sheeping Maniac on this.
Weaker: ghug sheeping jasnah sheeping Maniac.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I didn't imply I'd been pushing you. I implied I'd been scumreading you. I backed off that for a time because it didn't make sense with me reads of the day one drama, but now it's backFoxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 3:48 pmGhug did not have a reason for it, though. He lied about that to imply that he'd been pushing me from Day 1. You don't think that's odd?BobMcBob wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 3:41 pmyour vote was just sheeping jasnah, what a lame and weak voteFoxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 3:18 pm
When you voted me, you referenced Jasnah, so I mistook that as your reasoning.
And your initial "scum read" of me on D1 looked more like a joke:
And your vote now looks like even more of a joke considering that the only other times you've mentioned me was: 1) an actual joke post, 2) your N1 rundown of the different EOD1 scenarios, which now looks pretty clearly like "a TvTvT waste," as you put it, and so there's no actually useful commentary there, and 3) pushing back on my assertion that EON reads are a good thing.
If you were sheeping Jasnah, that would have at least been an interesting path (for you) onto the mediocre vote you're casting now.
well um actually i had reasoning for it which i stated earlier that you completely ignored
oh, um... well your current vote (on me) is lame and weak, at least if youd sheeped jasnah it wouldve been interesting
what sort of stupid logic is this? it feels like hes trying to find any way possible to shoot down and humiliate votes on him
OMGUS is town-indicative. Only reading your own wagon and trying to undermine everyone voting for you by accusing them is scum indicative.

@Ghug, cut the self-righteousness please. You weren't exactly devoting much time and energy to pushing the Foxcastle wagon. You were a bit of a non-entity most of D2 tbh.

ScumFoxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 4:14 pmFoxcastle Fun Fact: I will not be here for the last three hours of Day or EOD. I have a (socially distanced, outdoor) family get-together to be at. There is some minuscule chance I'll be on mobile, but I certainly won't be read up on the last few hours of the thread.
I will be around for the next 3.5 hours, though.

Also scum.worcej wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 8:57 pmIf you cannot read between the lines - I will be missing EOD.worcej wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 8:56 pmGoing to buy a new vehicle with my wife. Family car time![]()
Anyways, please for the love of god flip lfisch so we get an actual use of the herb. If we don't and lose it, I will throw all my intentional niceness out the window and go full-blown rage Worcestershiresauce.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Celaph and rd both look good for opposing this (only quoting celaph cause I'm lazy.celaph wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 9:28 pmThe way this is playing out makes me heavily suspect that lfischl is town right now. He seems perfectly content with his death right now and has seemingly left knowing that he won't be around to change perceptions by EoD. If he was trying for a WIFOM play as scum, this is really going all in.
And I'm not convinced that getting flip info on someone is worth killing lfischl for. It sucks to waste our herbs, but I'm not loving the thought that we're killing town here.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Because he forgot HR was dead? I've only ever done that as scum.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Yeah, the only person I see pushing this kill for the right reasons is jasnah.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 10:48 pmIve already explained why killing the herb is bad play.
Its only worth it if you actually have solid reasons to scumread the player.
While I feel its entirely possible, the play just feels like it somehow makes the slot look -slightly- better.
Also, competing wagons
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
The Fox townread annoys me, and I'd like him to explain it, but Vecna's approach here is very townie.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 10:59 pmYou forget to wonder why scum would do that though Jamiet.
Town do stupid scummy-looking shit all the time. You ought to know that by now.
Scum are much more careful about that type of shit and just wanna charm their way into your panties. You definitely ought to know -that- by now.
Anyways, im done arguing this. I dont even feel strongly about it. Killing lfischl is a great way to at least eliminate a wasted vote going forward if he is town.
So unexcited though.

I don't see a need for a caveat unless you're ccing.damo666 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:03 amI think you are being truthful it is just a caveat to my statement.
I am not worried at all but I'm telling you now the result you'll get so the scan will have no value (until you prove you are insane).
I have suggested you scan Jamie to verify your status.
If you don't want to do that scan someone else you strongly suspect and hope you get non alien. Obviously if turn out to be paranoid the scan is perma-useless.
Jamie's already been scanned as AREA-51. Yes, figuring out my sanity is good, but finding scum is better. If I scan you and you're scum, then I know my alignment *and* I've caught a scum. It's simply a better deal to scan people who's alignments are unresolved.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I'm on vacation. This is well established. I gave the right answer on lfischl last night, and I didn't loudly announce that I'd be away at EoD so people wouldn't kill me.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:33 am@Ghug, cut the self-righteousness please. Yeah, I feel like damo should know his argument isn't compelling to anyone who doesn't already know his alignment.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:58 amI don't see a need for a caveat unless you're ccing.damo666 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:03 amI think you are being truthful it is just a caveat to my statement.

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
This is not the case. If I get Area-51, I am a paranoid cop and useless. If I get not-area-51, I am insane (which just means I need to reverse my scans)Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:17 amIf he scans me and gets Area-51, he's accurate.damo666 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 11:47 pmBy all means but you'll get Area 51 and still won't know whether you are insane or paranoid and MORE IMPORTANTLY NEITHER WILL I NOR ANYONE ELSE.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 11:12 pmI'm scanning damo tonight unless people have a different idea.
You could however scan Jamie to determine whether you are insane or paranoid. Of course you have to survive N3 for this to be of value.
Now obviously you can do what you want but if you scan me I have already told you the result you will get.
All this assumes you are being truthful about being the scanner, having scanned yourself and getting the result you stated.

How did you establish for us all that you were away on vacation without announcing it?ghug wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:59 amI'm on vacation. This is well established. Sorry, yes, what I meant was that scanning me would be a useful result for you. Fair correction.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 1:01 amThis is not the case. If I get Area-51, I am a paranoid cop and useless. If I get not-area-51, I am insane (which just means I need to reverse my scans)

But knowing my sanity is not as important as finding scum is. I'll work out my sanity on my own in a few days just from scan results, so wasting a scan isn't a good option.damo666 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:26 amYes, proving paranoid. And if he gets non-alien it proves insane. That is why I am proposing he scan you so he can find out what his scan does, hopefully insane as paranoid is useless.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:17 amIf he scans me and gets Area-51, he's accurate.damo666 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 11:47 pm
