Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Asides from Vecna answering before I did, can't be only one seeing identical conversation here, right?
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Dammit, EMC, when you make sense like this it leaves me so little room to berate and harangue you.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Kinda true, but if I went overboard here Jamie woulda reported me for sexual harassment. You want me to look at Bungo ISO you linked?Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 2:28 pmFor what its worth, I still think you are plausibly non-town allignment here. Youre not giving off your usual townvibes to me. You do a good job with the usual townmeta in how you approach Jamiet, but it doesnt have completely the same feel as when youre usually overthinking the way of how to describe your read.
This exercise serves a nice double purpose.

We're in lockdown. All the pubs in the UK are closed. I rarely drink alone. I've been drunk once since Christmas.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 2:17 pmLol no. His general aggression levels have nothing to do with game state and everything to do with his current sobriety levels.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 9:27 amPeople in the mini-game said that Jamie has been working to tone down that aspect of his town play. Would that change how you're reading him here?e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:36 amWhy do I sort of scumread Jamie, list that consists of one reason:
He's meaner in snark when scum compared to town. When he's town he'll be all "you witless fuck, shove it up your ass" and you're like "hell yes, harder Jamie"
- but when he's scum the response it generates is more of "the fuck, was this a line?"

Wasn't Vecna also a source of the lfischl pressure?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 12:24 pmCurrent thoughts:
I don't mind the jamie wagon. While Jamie's snarky summary of the wagon makes it seem bad, Maniac and others have interesting reasons.
I don't like the Chaqa wagon. I think Vecna's reasons are bad. I think the members of the wagon are sketchy. I think the timing and manner of its formulation is sketchy.
I like the Bona wagon (obv, I'm on it). I still think Bona had a lot of posts that were "too sketchy to be sketchy" by just spewing statements and then contradicting them about 10 minutes later for no reason. His high school chummy drama seemed like a way to post a lot without doing anything.
I am worried that when lfischl took early pressure (I didn't understand why, but I didn't understand why Durga got a lot of pressure in the mini game) that Vecna jumped in to change the topic. Vecna did the same for some other wagons. I'm not sure who he's saving like he did Durga, but it seems very similar to last game. His posts seem forced like they did last game too, as the GM I thought on D1 "oh man, when Durga flips it'll be obvious how Vecna was defending her". Gonna ##vote Vecna
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
This jasnah feels way more substantive than last game.jasnah wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:00 pmFrankly I don't really care how much Jamie does or doesn't get riled up. I think that if you're DK'ing based on how angry someone is able to pretend to be over text you're setting yourself up for arbitrary wagoning not to mention a pretty toxic metagame as a result of an incentive structure that rewards over-the-top rage.
At least Jamie has been talking at all, which is more than can be said for Chaqa. I'm aware that time zones exist, so maybe he will come back later and say more and maybe we'll have good reasons to unwagon him again, that's perfectly fine, and if that happens we have ample time to switch to another sensible wagon before EOD.

Oh, I see. Yes, he was. And then evaporated it. Go compare to his play with Durga last game. I may just be seeing things that are similar, but it prodded me. I'll read more later.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:25 pmIn this game? Kgray talks enough in general that it's safer to assume there are out of game reasons for her low participation.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:57 pmI don't really like this post. Scum Kgray sometimes talk even more then town Kgray.

Oh really? the bot might not have detected it, but if youre trying to make your arguments based on the bot it already shows us that youre not actually reading into why im doing stuff.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:25 pmIn this game? This vote was invalid because the first letter in this person's name is L, not I.
It's lfischl not Ifischl.

I purport that lfischl has deliberately chosen an easily mis-spelled username to gain a slight advantage in Mafia by avoiding votes.
(Not really).

Chaqa was never good as town. Also 10 of me would be great.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:03 pmBut you and I both remember when he -was- a threat as town.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 2:59 pmDammit, I lost the post. But to whoever said "Chaqa was a threat", literally no one fears Chaqa as town lmao. His whole schtick and effectiveness is based on underestimation, intentional to boot.
Unless I misread it and it's fear of scum!Chaqa, but that's neither here nor there.
Even in that stupid among us, he loves to lead and is actually useful.
I dont wanna play with this lame-ass version of Chaqa if he is town. Get him the fuck out of here. murder-death-kill. Id rather have 10 ghugs or 3 bo_socks.

Yep, and you have also been good with keeping temper in recent times.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:22 pmWe're in lockdown. All the pubs in the UK are closed. I rarely drink alone. I've been drunk once since Christmas.

Eh, he's good when he tries. He's just...not threatening. Also that is interesting bo-ghug conversion ratio.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:37 pmChaqa was never good as town.
