People in the mini-game said that Jamie has been working to tone down that aspect of his town play. Would that change how you're reading him here?e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:36 amWhy do I sort of scumread Jamie, list that consists of one reason:
He's meaner in snark when scum compared to town. When he's town he'll be all "you witless fuck, shove it up your ass" and you're like "hell yes, harder Jamie"
- but when he's scum the response it generates is more of "the fuck, was this a line?"

apparently yes, they said so last gamecelaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 9:19 amWeird question: do you have synesthesia? I'm curious if that is why you associate players with colors.Macca573 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:03 amNext thoughts.
I don't like Jamie, his vibe is much redder than it normally is.
##VOTE Jamie
Bob: it is a little funny that you haven't read your role PM, but it's also quite annoying. We're waiting for you in our QT, and you just aren't arriving!
Also not a Vecna fan... Don't know why yet, but I'm not.
Agree on your last point as well. Though it's possible I'm just hedging after getting beaten last game. I guess we'll see.
ive known them for 5 years and didnt know until then
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
analytically
a few long posts
everything capitalised correctly with punctuation
maybe make a spreadsheet as well
actually they may have been scum in that game i cant remember
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
because i dont like jamie
also hes not angry enough at some things
and way too angry at others
in a way counter to what id expect
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
This just feels like it lacks the critical thought that I normally associate with Vecna. Of all the people with poor reasons to vote Jamie, why is this the one that you want to push? I can't help but feel that Chaqa was chosen because he's easy to push. He's rather feared after M62 and few will actively come out of the woodwork to push back despite a poor day like they will do with others.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
According to the bot you've played one game as town when they were scum and one game as scum when they were town.

Given that I think through colours, most probably. I also think all smells have particular colours.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 9:19 amWeird question: do you have synesthesia? I'm curious if that is why you associate players with colors.Macca573 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:03 amNext thoughts.

While I guess I can sort of agree...e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 1:36 amWhy do I sort of scumread Jamie, list that consists of one reason:

Im missing your whimsical aura of "all the secrets of the universe are mine" and more importantly "I know somethiiiiiiing - and you guuuuuys doooo-oooont".
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
He talked about it once. Its a gimmick thats supposed to make us go "lets wait untill tomororw". And tomorrow "he put himself up to die, clearly scum wouldnt do it".
It applies to all the dumb fuck reasoning centers of the brain so he can lurk another game and start trying in the endgame.

Agread.

Scum bb also seems like standard bb to everyone. Your point being?
Some people are good at imitating their towngame. Doesnt mean you shouldnt try to solve them and push them. Brainbomb is probably better than me at it.
I think Brainbomb has done absolutely nothing to make him stand out as town.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
my point, since you asked, being that i do not think this "posturing post" is aiVecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 10:33 amScum bb also seems like standard bb to everyone. Your point being?

Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
I’m switching back to ##vote Jamie.
It’s interesting what others are saying about how angry he sometimes gets and his reactions generally.
In M64 when he was GM he gasped at my opening post. In M1016 as town he rallied against my opening post which was a flavour blog. In this game his reaction to my initial post was applause. Jamie’s reaction is more likely to be scummy than town.
I had, only a few hours ago, gave Jamie town cred for announcing he was off to bed then staying around for 1hr+. I thought it could be town indicative that he has a desire to solve the puzzle. However it’s far too early to solve the puzzle and perhaps he is just worried scum hoping to talk his way out of a D1 kill.

Go and read back the games where Chaqa has been trying and is actively playing in a pro-town manner.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 9:33 amThis just feels like it lacks the critical thought that I normally associate with Vecna. If he wants to try and tank his town-game to just be able to lurk out his scumgames I will gladly kill him D1 every single game.
Also, what critical thought are you looking for? He is actively making it so that no critical thought can be applied.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
That person was me fabricating bullshit though (even though he did make an effort to make himself less toxic)celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 9:27 amPeople in the mini-game said that Jamie has been working to tone down that aspect of his town play. Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Also, I dont actually oppose the wagon, and this has nothing to do with Chaqa voting Jamiet. It might just as well be a bus-vote.celaph wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 9:33 amThis just feels like it lacks the critical thought that I normally associate with Vecna. Im not certain quite yet on Jamiets alignment, but the wagon there is fine.
Chaqa wagon, much better.
Re: Mafia 65: Dreamland II [Hidden]
Don't like the Chaqa or Jamie wagons and indifferent to Bona.
I find kgray's lack of participation suspicious.

And before I am accused of hypocrisy I am often a low poster day 1.
