GM ANSWER:
If town vote no-kill and scum no-kill, then town will not be allowed to vote no-kill the next day.

The one time I GM-ed a game with "instant night" I ruled that if three consecutive phases of no-kill were to occur, the game would end in a draw.

I don't know that much about him. I think I read that he was quite experienced in this game despite being relatively new here (i.e. from playing it elsewhere).kgray wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:13 pmHmm. Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I mean, part of me wants to no-kill and just hope that I'm the NK so I can't lose this game for town like I did last time I made it to kylo. But I'm confident enough in Vecna being town, and in one of us being the NK, that I think it does make sense for us to stick together and just decide now. I'm so torn between you and lfischl, and I don't want to have to decide that on my own. I'm not that confident in your guilt...Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:04 pm@Kgray:
You are still voting me, I notice.
Are you so sure that I'm scum that you'd rather daykill me (which will result in a loss for town if you and I are both town), than no-kill today?
If so, how can you explain such a high level of confidence in my guilt?
inb4 Vecna is scum and I'm terrible. But like I said, I can't really handle considering that right now lol
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
Wait you'd make town kill first? That seems backwards. Is that normal?
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I think he's played other places, yeah, but I still find it a little surprising that your read of him is that he'd do something like that. But maybe I'm just being patronizing.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:21 pmI don't know that much about him. Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
1) We have a deadline for game to end
2) The ruling we decided is the first team to begin a stalemate will not be allowed to continue the stalemate. As phrased, town will be barred from voting no-kill
3) Had scum no-killed first, they would be forced to kill first.
4) We cannot, and will not force town to not end on a tied vote.

Do you agree that if we all stay as we are, scum are guaranteed to win? The remaining Mafioso will simply jump to a townie at the last second, while NK-ing a different townie, and boom, they win.kgray wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:22 pmI mean, part of me wants to no-kill and just hope that I'm the NK so I can't lose this game for town like I did last time I made it to kylo. Even if you think he's not very clever, which is what you're implying, remember that if he's scum he had someone else to coach him for quite a while.kgray wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:25 pmI think he's played other places, yeah, but I still find it a little surprising that your read of him is that he'd do something like that. Well I don't expect the votes to stay this way, but if they do, and you're town, then yeah. Presumably scum would join you on my wagon and we'll lose.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:25 pmDo you agree that if we all stay as we are, scum are guaranteed to win? Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
The main reason im doubting my read atm is, that I sometimes just overdo it with attributing townyness to new players when im completely unfamiliar with their meta. Ive been bit by that before (for example, that game where you trumped me and bunny, although its a bad example, - it happened before with someone whose playstyle and talking style was a lot closer to lfischl).
Darg was gunning for lfischl heavily. lfischl went from townreading everyone outside of the brainbomb group, to scumreading Rdrivera/Kgray/Vecna. This coincided roughly with the day where Rdrivera was set to be killed. When Rdrivera claimed vig, all reads went out the window and Darg was just voted. When you questioned him, and used some arbitrary logic why you couldnt be scum, the read just suddenly vanished. I know none of this is conclusive, but it also shows me that he's not following any read patterns that he actually believes in.
He did seem to be following some type of pattern before. Shading Durga, defending Jamiet. He also spoke out a few times when stuff happened that did not fit his reads. He had a few smart ass comments here and there. More recently, he's been popping in, but has not shared any thoughts, no comments, nothing. He's been pretty silent after the other 2 scum died.
I know im probably confbiasing heavily here. Im just trying to figure out for myself if its remotely believe it couldve been down to coaching overall and him just taking part in shading Durga as part of the scum plan.
I really doubt Bozo and Durga are the coaching types though. I do buy Durga being completely uninterested in playing this game based on her team composition. And her teammates responding to that by just bussing and shading her. (This is actually more good reasons to townread both of us, because Durga wouldve loved to play a scumgame with either of us, and I believe she wouldve put in effort to make it work).

Ok, so, theres no real point to no-killing here.
Lets please end it today then. I really cba to having to stay up uptill 3am another night.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I'm not trying to imply that he's not clever, I'm implying that it doesn't seem like he thinks too deeply about how people think in a way that makes me think he'd try to play mind games. But it's hard to determine this at all when he doesn't explain his thoughts...Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:27 pmEven if you think he's not very clever, which is what you're implying, remember that if he's scum he had someone else to coach him for quite a while.kgray wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:25 pmI think he's played other places, yeah, but I still find it a little surprising that your read of him is that he'd do something like that. So tying it is still allowed right? MehBunnyGo wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:25 pm1) We have a deadline for game to end

Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
Well, tying it is far too risky ofcourse with scum in the mix
